Very nice Place, wonderful nature.
We spent a very nice sunny day, unfortunately we were not alone. To much people in the Hot Spot, expecting to get a picture like a Diva and takes 5 minutes for a picture, which is 12 per Hour, However in the Same time 1000 is entering in the Park and wanting also a picture as remember….
Fast and efficient pick-up. Happy about skipping queue for tickets!
Not too difficult hike/walk from the drop-off point to pick up was a huge relief for me. Much of the waterfalls were great highlights. Many thanks to Ana for bringing us around!!
We had a great day in the park. We lucked out that it wasn’t overly crowded when we visited on a Saturday. The day before was crazy full. I walked over 17,000 steps and we all came home dusty, sweaty and tired but the experience was incredible. We stopped at a roadway minimart/restaurant before the park and take the guide’s advice and buy sandwiches for lunch later. The restaurant for lunch was super busy. All the tables under shade fill up quickly. Bring sunscreen for sure, but we had a considerable amount of shade. I kept trying to soak up the beauty in the woods and along the walking path and stumbled on roots and the steps on the raised wooden path. After I twisted my ankle or stumbled 3 times, I focused on the path more. My visit was in late July.
The landscapes were beautiful, the weather was favorable. We had fun!!! I would definitely repeat the experience
The scenery of course is just breathtaking, but our guide Ante really added tons of information about the lakes plus about Croatian culture, history, and geology. He also helped us avoid some of the worst lines and to really maximize our time in the park.
The tour was nice. Victor however is just a marketing operation and a better price can be had locally and the information will be current. The pickup point we had was out of date and we missed going on day we wanted and were rebooked next day. Lost a day of vacation due to aviator.

The park was beautiful. Ante was a good tour guide. However, there was no mask mandate and several people were not wearing a mask on a bus ride lasting over 1 1/2 hours one way.
Josepa was a friendly and informative guide who told us lots about the country of Croatia - including its geography, climate, and history - on the coach ride to the lakes. We started at the upper lakes and worked our way down. The scenery is beautiful, you won't believe how tranquil and blue the water is, and there's plenty of wildlife to be spotted too including fish, ducks, and birds. Lunch was provided on this tour; a pretty simple offering with a cheese and salami roll, an apple, a carton of juice, a bottle of water, and a croissant, which I couldn't eat because of my nut allergy (which I did tell them about beforehand so a little disappointed I didn't get a nut-free alternative but no biggie). It's a 7-8km walk mostly on boardwalks with a few rough parts, and the park entry ticket (200hrk, not included in the price of this tour) entitles you to a boat crossing the largest lake. Our tour ended at the largest waterfall in Croatia, which is spectacular. Then it's a long climb out of the valley to entrance 1 back to meet up with everyone else. The only slight downside was we only got 4.5hrs in the park and I wished we could have stayed longer.
Overall, I thoroughly recommend the park as a picturesque place to walk, take pictures, and admire nature. Doing it as a tour allows you to meet fellow travellers, gain knowledge about the country and region, and the lunch provided was fine.
Tour was good but was triple the price of those for £22-6 which did not advertise a tour guide, yet provided just as adept tour guide.
Very beutiful nature with small lakes on different levels with watefalls beteween them and water poring through cracks in the rocks of limestone. The water in the lakes are cristal clear.
A fantastic tour walking through this park. Our very competent and nice guide Ante made this a fantastic tour.
Our guide Josephina was brilliant. She gave us a very interesting commentary on the journey to the lakes and a little about the history of Croatia which we enjoyed finding out about. On the walk itself she was attentive and helpful but also gave the freedom to explore independently. The lakes and waterfalls themselves are absolutely beautiful and incredibly blue (photographs don’t do it justice!). It was busy, but still plenty of room to walk and enjoy the scenery. I would highly recommend this tour; be aware that it involves around 8-9km of walking on mixed terrain and is not suitable for wheelchair users or prams.
It was a small group, which was nice. Guide was amazing, very knowledgeable and helpful. The view was worth the 10km walk.
We did this tour and I turned out to be an amazing one..We strated from the upper lakes and descended to the lower lakes..The trip was exciting and comfortable with spectacular views and informative as Ante our guide planned it so well..
This park is so beautiful and I'm so happy I visited in a tour group with viator. Guide gave us great explanations and the scenery is breathtaking! Thank you!!!

Our guide Ante was a very pleasant young man and very approachable. It was a long walk down but didn't want to miss any of the beautiful lakes or waterfalls and am really glad I have taken the time to visit this amazing place.
Catarina was an incredible tour guide. She is extremely knowledgable and talented, and definitely manages a large group of people very well something that's not always easy to do, especially in a place crowded with tourists, like the Plitvice Lakes in August. She is very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this tour in one of the most beautiful parts of Croatia. It was my favorite day of the 2 weeks I spent in Croatia.
This was a fantastic tour, even though it rained most of the day it was still an enjoyable trip. The park is amazing and our guide was really informative and fun. Totally recommend this tour to anyone visiting Croatia.
The place is stunning, but the crowds along the narrow boardwalks required us to keep shuffling along, taking a quick picture to not hold up the line. The best advice is go in April may time frame and go early in the morning to see all of the park. Our tour was a half day and we only saw 1/3 of it, but it was still amazing.
We took this tour on rainy day of September, wheather wasn't of the best. Also trails through park were slippery, so You should wear comfortable shoes and grab a raincoat, if you're travelling in autumn.
But the park itself is very beautiful, a lot of waterfalls on every corner. We took a boat ride from one route to another. Probably looks better on sunny day, but we enjoyed it anyway. Worth to visit.
Lunch in a cafe on our way back to Zadar was quite poor, although it costed only 7 EUR, we were expecting something a little bit better. But this trip wasn't about the lunch...
Absolutely fabulous Park - even on a rainy day as we had. I can only imagine the colours of the lakes if there is a bit of sunshine! Even in cloud, they have gorgeous jewel colours of jade and turquoise and the water was crystal clear. The guides were informative and looked out for everyone. However, I felt a little rushed at times and would have liked a little more time to take photos. The most time was allocated to the biggest waterfall which was not at all the most picturesque. I much preferred the Milka waterfall which we saw earlier in the tour and I felt warranted a bit more time. The hike is quite challenging for anyone with any mobility issues and a reasonable level of fitness is needed to get around the park. All in all, it definitely worth taking a guided tour, if for no other reason than to avoid the long queues even on a wet day in September!. I have no hesitation in recommending this tour to anyone.
The Plitvice lakes are truly wonderful and the tour was great. Only suggestion would be avoid peak holiday season as it was overwhelming re the number of people given many of the walking tracks are narrow.
This is a must-see in Croatia, of course. We had a very nice guide, Marina, who had a great sense of humor and tried her best to keep us entertained and happy. The tour was well organized, very punctual and the coach was comfortable. They provided us with plastic ponchos because of the rain super nice! and the lakes are breathtaking. The waterfalls were a bit disappointing but later I learned drought season was just over so the timing wasn't the best.
I am glad I went and saw the lakes, however because of the weather the experience wasn't the best or not nearly as close as I expected. It was pouring down on the day of our tour, so when we were halfway on our walk everybody was bored, tired, upset, soaking wet and cold early September, still summer though.The paths in the park are narrow and became very slippery with the rain, there are lots of steps up down as well, you have to watch out where you place your feet and the amount of people coming and going does not make the walk any easier. You have to focus very hard on your steps and end up missing the landscape around you, because the group doesn't stop and the walk is not in a contemplative pace I thought it was kind of in rush really, but that might be because of the rain that got heavier and heavier.
I recommend the tour but I'd keep an eye on the weather forecast and prepare well for it, bearing in mind that it might steal part of the beauty of the tour.
Plitvice Lakes National Park was beautiful but apart from shuttling us from Zadar to Plitvice and back the tour didn't really provide any value. No lunch or entry fee was included and the tour guide information provided was basic. There is no need for a guide to navigate as it's impossible to get lost. I should have saved my money and go on my own.
The Plitvice National Park is unbelievably beautiful - the photos don't do it justice! We travelled in August which is a popular tourist month so the park was packed - it took a really long time to walk through certain sections. In the information package we received before going on the tour it said to bring good walking shoes - they mean it. My only negative to the tour was the obligatory restaurant stop at the end - the restaurant was advertised as a sanctuary for bears and other animals. Coming from Canada this place looked nothing like a sanctuary and rather a really awful zoo. The restaurant food was terrible. If you book the tour, skip pre-purchasing the meal and opt for something else in the cafe attached to the restaurant. I really wish the tour didn't include the stop, it felt unnecessary and we would have much preferred to be back in the city sooner. Overall, I would still highly recommend the tour as it was well organized and the park is a must-see!
This is an amazing place. Couldn't stop talking about the beautiful clear water. Around every corner is a waterfall, scene and photograph more stunning than before. It must be God's resting place.
Be sure to wear comfortable shoes don't attempt it if you cannot walk without aid.
Really good tour and knowledgeable guide. Very impressive lakes and waterfalls. Overcast day but still nice. We did the tour with our 2 year old toddler which was difficult as we had to carry her for most of the 3 hrs walk. Despite taking reins, the flooring was uneven and a fast paced group
This tour was great. Mario was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the park. He was also great at creating interpersonal relationships with all the guests. Our driver was also nice, I feel we made it there quicker than expected. Great day trip Fromm Zadar.
Excellent day out. The lakes and waterfalls were beautiful. Compared with visiting in summer, although it was quite chilly, the Park was much quieter and some of the views were probably better as the trees weren't in full leaf yet.
Our guide Magdalena was very informative and looked after us well.
Even on a rainy day, these falls are amazing. I really enjoyed the tour, and Magdalena, the guide, was funny, sweet, and informative. I would definitely recommend taking the time and money to do this excursion. The drives weren't that bad, about an hour and half, but beautiful through the mountains!
