Li made it very clear as she got our tickets for us and communicated a lot of detail about where to enter on a map and times of arrival and even the shuttle details between the main attraction and mausoleum with the bronze chariots. We did not use a tour guide but her details made our trip very easy. Really appreciate her efforts!

When in Xian, the Terracotta Army archeological site is a must see. We did not go with a group tour as we prefer to see at our own pace instead of being rushed around. We chose Ms Li tour and is very pleased with her detailed services. The Bingmayong site is 42km from Xian, we used the app Didi to get a ride there from our hotel near Yongningmen gate. It costs ~108 RMB or $15 and 50 minutes each way. The site has 3 excavated pits, each with its own features. Pit 1 is the largest and has a lot of statues. Pit 2 features the well preserved statue of a general, 1 out of 7 such statues. Pit 3 has a 4 horse chariot with its 3 member crew (the chariot did not survive time). There is also a museum. Note there is a free shuttle to go to another museum a few kms away to see 1 of 2 bronze chariots of Emperor Qin ( the other chariot is in the National Museum in Beijing). Overall the visit takes 3-5+ hours.

You can see many reviews elsewhere about the Terracotta Army - it’s obviously a major drawcard for visitors to Xi’an, and for good reason. I want to thoroughly recommend Li’s ticket booking service on Viator. What makes it stand apart is the excellent communication she made with messaging. All the additional information about the site entry points and arrival procedure made everything very easy. It was of great value for a solo traveler who only speaks English. We received great tips and lots of info from Ms Li. Please note your passport is your ticket. During high season go as early as you can to beat the crowds! we got there by 7:20 am and the big groups had already arrived, but once inside it was fine, we could take many good pictures without a thousand people walking in!

Apart from the fact it's a huge tourist trap, it's definitely worth seeing if in the area, you can't comprehend the place until you see it with your own eyes. I asked Ms Li to buy the tickets to the terracotta warriors as the official website was a bit complicated to navigate through and required a Chinese phone number. Not only she bought the tickets but she also provided me with a lot of support in term of how to get there, app needed in China to pay/get a cab etc, and provided guidance on how to structure my visit at the terracotta warriors in an efficient manner.
