Jon and his friend were wonderful guides around Wellington. Come prepared to EAT. Lots of food stops beginning with coffee and the most incredible scones (you’ve never eaten in your life). Lots of international tastings to highlight the diversity of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time walking and eating our way through Wellington.
Highly recommend this tour!

We were completely disappointed in the food on the tour for how expensive it was! We tried a cheese biscuit, a toasty with cream cheese and onion (which she referred to has hangover food for a college student, a miniature meat pie, chocolate with strawberries from a chocolate factory and ice cream. The drinks we had were coffee and some L&P soda. Our tour guide was nice but she focused on telling us about herself. We have been on a lot better food tours in other countries! Would not recommend this one!

Food was excellent. Stella and the group were cohesive, friendly and on time. The food was quite an array of different types of foods. Home made Kambucha, pies, ice cream, lamb rolls, vegetarian options were available Stella knows the town and all the people. She was great but a lot of walking

Our tour guide Stella was lovely!! Enjoyed her commentary & knowledge of the city & food. La Ciel was a wonderful bistro - Robin at Kombucha was really special & enjoyed the organic Kombucha flavors.

First, the tour company was very flexible with the fact that our disembarkation from our cruise ship was significantly delayed. Their communication with us was great, and we didn't miss anything about our tour. Our guide (Stella) was fun and knowledgeable about Wellington and the foods we tried. We especially loved our stop at the Kombucha shop.

Our guide, John, was awesome! He tailored our food tour to what we liked. He took us to off the beaten path places to really experience some great Wellington food. He took us to an amazing Asian Food Market and a butcher shop to give us a flavor for what is available in Wellington. He has great connections with many of the shop owners in town. They treated us like family because we were with him. John is funny and clever and we had a super great experience! Thank you.

I was incredibly lucky and had a one on one tour. We walked around Wellington, tried sooo much food and I'm still mind-blown about some things. It really was and still is one of the highlights of my north-island trip. We went from coffee to baked goods over snacks and lunch to sweats and treats and finished with some beer. It was an absolute dream and I hope to be able to come back one day.

Lovely walk with Jon past all kinds of great eating and drinking spots in Wellington. If only we had known we were getting so many goodies, we wouldn't have had coffee in the morning. Fun and diverse and Jon was very flexible and felt where our interest lay. Recommended!
