Overview
Visit the Tifajek Mud Pools and Hot Springs, a rustic but much-loved Fijian experience, on this all-terrain vehicle adventure from Nadi. Get off the beaten path and access parts of the island that traditional tours can't on a rugged quad bike, with your guide in the lead to provide navigation and directions. Head to the Sleeping Giant Mountain Range to visit the orchid garden before heading to the pools where you can slather yourself with mud, and then rinse off in the hot springs.

- Children must be accompanied by an adult and will share a quad bike (2 seater bikes) with their adult driver
- Minimum age to drive is 18 years and/or showing a valid Drivers License - only select YOUTH option if a 16 - 17 year old is licensed and intends to drive their own quad, otherwise they can be put through as a child who will share a 2 seater quad with an adult driver
- Near public transportation
- All drivers, regardless of age, must show valid drivers licence before commencing tour - DO NOT FORGET TO BRING THIS WITH YOU ON THE DAY! No drivers licence = no tour or refund.
- Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking

This was a fantastic excursion! We loved our tour guide, Oscar! Our excursion included an ATV ride through town and into the country along unpaved roads to the first destination, a lovely valley with a managed orchid garden and great view of the Sleeping Giant. The second stop was mud baths and hot springs which was also a unique experience. Then the ride back including a detour riding along the beach. Back at the business location we were given a sandwich and fresh pineapple. The ATVs worked without a problem and the overall experience was fun and professional.

Pick up from our resort was comfortable and right on time!
Pony was a wonderful, friendly guide! He lead us safely through Nadi traffic for our first time driving on the left hand side, never did we feel unsafe.
First stop was a great craft and farmers market where I bought a clay beaded necklace that will be a lovely addition to my collection. The selection of fresh flowers, fruit and veggies was incredible as well.
Next we rode to the garden of the sleeping giant which was a beautiful show of local trees and flowers. We hiked to the viewpoint which was short but steep and provided a well-worth-it view of the valley below!
A lovely snack and cold water was provided between our hike at Sleeping Giant and plunge at the mud bath! The mud bath and hot spring was a lovely experience and left us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
The final ride home was super fun, especially the section where we got to rip along the beach!
The entire staff were friendly and hospitable, which seems to be a common thread that runs through the people of Fiji as a whole. I’d recommend this tour to anyone looking to get out of the resort and check out a few cool, local attractions. Vinaka Vakalevu to the team at Go Dirty for a memorable day!

Excellent tour, my whole family loved it. Farmers market was a nice touch, the fresh pineapple was amazing. Mud pools loads of fun and the run on the beach at the end was a highlight for my boys.
Sarah our guide was great, friendly professional and good at keeping us safe on the quads. Speaking of which the quads were first class, nearly brand new and easily big enough for two people.
All in all, top drawer!

We received no confirmation, and the weather was terrible the day before when we arrived. Out airport driver offered to take us a round so the day would not be wasted. The operated showed up and when we were not there, then called. Very disappointed.

From the moment we were picked up from our hotel to their location the service was amazing. The owner was great the staff was great and our tour guide guide did an amazing job. We did the full excursion that included the mud bath. We recommend everyone to do the tour with them.

A fantastic experience! The trip started on the city streets and even went at high speeds on a highway - the ATV portion was exciting and a little scary! The visit to the garden was very nice. The mud pool was interesting and relaxing. Overall - would highly recommend.

Great experience! Really good quality bikes and equipment! Lots of road driving so make sure your prepared for that but you follow a guide the whole time so we really enjoyed it! Lots of fun getting all muddy and enjoying the hot springs! Overall a really fun experience and would definitely recommend!

This was a great way to see parts of Nadi. I turned out to be the only one booked so for a personalised tour! Never driven a quad bike before, but my guide John was great - keeping an eye on me and making sure I was ok. Always felt safe but adventurous. Got plenty of time to look around. With cold drinks to keep me going along the way. I managed to leave my phone at the base and the team were fantastic at getting it back to me. Thoroughly recommend the tour and the company.

We had a fun day! The market is cute and the Mudpool was really cool with beautiful landscape views. Exceeded expectations from the photos. The team were great and very helpful. We are more adventurous travelers and the description was a little confusing. This company does many different types of tours and I think we would have had more fun on one of their other tours as this one had many stops and was more of a relaxing tour rather than a lot of ATV. The word “Adventurous” made us think we would be going into the mountains and doing a lot of driving, but this wasn’t the case. The beach drive is only 5 minutes with a photo. The snack was a sandwich at the end of the tour and we were very hungry at that point so eat a big meal before you go. Overall we had a great day, definitely recommend!

Our guide was great she took us to our first spot to the farmers market wheee we had a young coconut drink, then we stopped at the sleeping giant gardens that were so relaxing and green, last stop was mad baths and hot springs, we had fun there and did an hour massage there as well. Massage was so worth it, massage therapist ladies were amazing. Then we returned back to the station and had lunch then after we were taken back to the hotel.

Betty was our guide and the experience was awesome! We rode through the streets of Nadi, went to the market, did the small hike through the gardens…the mud bath and hot springs, rode on the beach… and headed back to our starting point. I mentioned that we were doing it for my husband birthday and at the end they had a birthday cake with a candle and sang happy birthday! It was very memorable ❤️ definitely recommend this for the experience! It was extremely fun and we got to see a lot.
Notes:
- definitely wear sunscreen ( do not apply on your face) lol i made the mistake and i was sweating horribly… had to flush my eyes out at the market from sunscreen in my eyes !
-swimsuit or change of clothes for mud bath
-money in case you want to buy something at the market.
-shoes for the small hike that you don’t mind getting dirty.
-buy the insurance for the quad!

Lots of fun. Stopped at the local market. The mango and pineapple were amazing. Then on to the orchid garden. After that the mud pools and hot pools. Still trying to get mud out of my crevices 🤣. Betty was a great guide and since it was just the 2 of us, it felt like a private tour. She took us to the beach at the end and allowed us to rip around on the sand.

I think riding an ATV through the city streets and then up the mountain roads was the highlight of my trip. It was raining but that made it more fun. We zipped up and down the beach and I rode through the ocean creating my very own Baywatch moment.
We made a stop at the downtown farmer's market and Garden of Sleeping Giant before going to the mud baths where we lathered up the mud, let it dry, and then washed it off in the hot pools. If you do one thing in Fiji do this day trip.

Hubby and I did the ATV quad bike tour including a visit to the Garden of the Sleeping Giant (stunning gardens) and the Tifajek mud pool and hot springs this week and had a great time. Poni was a fantastic, personable and funny guide, and ensured we all felt safe on the quad bikes (I’d never ridden one before). The gardens were beautiful, and the mud bath was sensational. The hot springs were a great way to clean off and relax. We had a bit of bike fun on a beach (exhilarating) before heading back to base where we were met with a refreshing drink and a bite to eat. I wasn’t expecting much as a vegetarian but the salad sandwich I was given was one of the best I’ve eaten in a while. A big Vinaka Vakalevu to the team who looked after us from the start of the tour to the end. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience ..felt really safe on and off the road, and the guide was friendly. The garden was beautiful, and the mud pool was fun....the best bit by far was quad biking on the beach ... for a first time / nervous quad biker like me this was an absolute adventure!

If you do one activity while you’re here I recommend this one!! We stayed in Denarau but wanted to get out and actually see Fiji and this was the perfect chance to. Instead of hitting the local spots via a typical bus tour, this let you take ATVs out everywhere from the main roads to the back roads. It was loads of fun and our tour guide Betty did the most taking photos and videos of us along the way!
I cannot recommend this tour enough. We talked about it every day for the rest of our trip. Book it now!!
