After your ship arrives in Villefranche-sur-Mer, meet your guide for a private shore excursion of the highlights of the French Riviera.
Begin in the Principality of Monaco, a city-state full of glitz and glamour, for a lap of the famous Formula One Grand Prix racing circuit followed by some free time to explore the area around Casino Square. Browse the chic shops, stroll through manicured gardens, gaze at luxurious yachts in the harbor or see if Lady Luck is with you in the casinos.
Next, travel up into the hills overlooking the Mediterranean for a visit to the Medieval town of Eze. There are many craft shops to explore, excellent views to take in and a traditional perfumery where you'll get a guided tour.
Your last stop is Nice, which you'll reach via the scenic Middle Corniche road, enjoying wonderful coastal views along the way. Visit the Old Town of Nice to see Place Garibaldi and the vibrant Cours Saleya flower market before returning to your ship.

Thierry was exceptional. He was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and funny. The van was very comfortable. He showed us all the highlights. Would definitely do this again. Highlight was actually making it to the top of Eze. View was amazing and worth the climb.

Thierry met us right outside the cruise building in Villefranche. He was very friendly, excellent English, and had a plan to make it the perfect day trip for us to Monaco & Eze. After checking to learn our preference (and tolerance! lol) for riding on the Corniches, we headed for the highest mountain road to Eze. Spectacular scenery and great information about the town through which we passed. We stopped in Eze first and then headed to Monaco. We had great interest in the Formula 1 course, and Thierry was happy to feed our enthusiasm. Lifetime bucket list checked off, and he made it terrific fun, too! Since we had some mobility limitations in our family, he did his best to minimize our walking while still allowing us to explore on foot through the highlights of the city. He sat in the van with our family elder while the other two of us toured the Automobile Collection. He was an excellent driver as well as tour guide and made the day memorable and fun. We would highly recommend Tour Azur to family and friends. Merci beaucoup, Thierry for making our day in Monaco and Côte d’Azur a family memory to last a lifetime!

Our driver/guide was amazing! His English was perfect and his knowledge of the area was very interesting. He knew exactly where to take us for the perfect views, best outdoor markets, fun Monaco city sites and picturesque, curvy pathways of Eze. These three destinations have such different personalities and all were worth seeing. It was definitely quite a bit to do all in one day. Our guide arrived 30 minutes late to pick us up due to trouble with a new vehicle he had recently purchased. Despite the delayed start, he gave a great tour having been born and raised in the area as well as being knowledgeable about it's history.

The sights along the tour were great as we saw so much in the one day we were in port from Monaco, Eze and Nice. There was a bit of driving, which meant we didn't get to get back to Nice to see that much, but all that we saw was great, from the sights of the casino and the Bat Mobile parked in front, the Perfume factory, the quaint town of Eze and a short visit to the Chagall museum. Our driver/guide was a bit arrogant and make things a bit uncomfortable at times.
