Booked the tour under the impression that hotel pickup and drop-off were included but was told the night before that I would not be picked up and was instead given a meeting location. I was instructed to arrive at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure.
I arrived at the meeting point at 7:00 a.m. By 7:10 a.m., when no one had arrived I made contact and was told someone would be there soon and I should wait. Minutes later someone rang to inform me that the tour had been cancelled because I was the only participant.
The agent then told me that if I paid for two people (US$220), the tour could still proceed. I explained that I only had US$70 in cash but offered to pay an additional US$50. He instead said I would need to pay US$160 in cash and that my online payment would be refunded. I was also told the driver would take me to the airport
I explained again that I only had US$70 available. He then stated that I needed to pay at least US$100 in cash so the staff taking me on the tour had a guarantee they would be paid, and assured me that the difference would be refunded later. Based on that assurance, I was taken to an ATM where I withdrew an additional US$30, bringing my cash payment to US$100.
After all of this, the experience itself was also not what I had booked. The tour was advertised as lasting three hours and including snacks. Instead, it lasted only 30 minutes, no snacks were provided, and I was later told that I would not receive the refund I had been promised and the driver said he wasn’t informed he was to take me to the airport and asked for an additional $30- which I paid
The men who took me out on the tour were nice as was the agent who arranged for it to be done but in retrospect it seems a farce. If this was my only experience here. I wouldn’t come back but thankfully my other encounters were good. I’d never book with these guys again

We would, however, like to clarify a few points for the benefit of future travellers. At the time of your booking, no hotel pickup location had been provided, and despite our attempts to reach you before departure, we were unable to make contact. By the time communication was established on the morning of the tour, the scheduled departure had already taken place.
This experience operates with a minimum of two participants. Once we explained the situation, you expressed that you still wished to experience the cruise and requested that we make every effort to arrange it, even if only for a shortened duration. To accommodate your request, we engaged another operator at our own expense, despite this resulting in a financial loss to our company.
We are also concerned by your comments regarding a refund and airport transfer. Neither an airport transfer nor a partial refund formed part of the package booked or of the arrangement agreed upon before the tour departed.
While we appreciate that the experience did not fully meet your expectations, we are proud that our team went above and beyond to ensure you were still able to enjoy a cruise rather than miss out completely.
