Super experience, a memory we will never forget

We had a great day. It was 3 to 4 hours but in the end it was 6 hours including lunch. Our tour guide took the time to shows us old Varanasi and explained everything into details. This tour is so much better than the highlights of Varanasi. Great guy. Thanks again for a wonderfull day.

When we were looking to book a walking tour in Varanasi we wanted one that was going to provide a holistic view of Varanasi, including its history and culture rather than a tourist sightseeing trip. When we booked this trip and met Rahul we knew we had made the right decision. Rahul has over 20 years' experience sharing his cultural with visitors and seemed to know instantly what our interests were. Rahul provided us an extensive insight and understanding into the local history and the importance of life and death. It was a full-on tour and we absorbed so much information. I highly recommend this walking tour and Rahul as a tour guide. Thank you for sharing your culture with us, it was a privilege to meet you.

Deciding to book a guided walking tour of the ancient city of Varanasi is always the best way to get a more complete and holistic impression of the city, its culture, customs, rituals and stories. Additionally, there are many hidden corners among the maze of alleys that are difficult to find and very easy to get lost. And some places are only accessible if you go in the company of a local guide so I also strongly recommend that all visitors be accompanied by an experienced local guide... Si bien el guía llegó tarde, tengo que decir que fue una de las mejores experiencias en Varanasi para poder conocer en crudo la ciudad. Su estilo de vida, caminar por sus calles, oler sus aromas, sentir su forma de vivir. Raúl además ha dado excelentes explicaciones, tengo que decir mucho mejor que otros guías con más años. Explica en detalle el proceso de cremación de los cuerpos y la forma de vivir de la gente de Varanasi dado que Raúl es de allí y su familia tiene muchas generaciones viviendo en Varanasi. En definitiva, un excelente guía, una experiencia inolvidable, mucho mejor que otros tours que contrate. Tengo que aclarar que viaje sola y no hay forma de hacer esto por tu cuenta. Me sentí segura y cuidada en este tour.
