Itinerary

This private 3-hour boat ride’s departure time changes seasonally depending on the time of sunrise, and will start any time between 5:45a.m. and 6:45a.m. You can choose to go as a solo traveler, or with up to eight people (prices vary).

After you’ve been picked up from your hotel, take a short car ride over to one of the piers on the Ganges. Climb down the riverside steps, and make your way to your private boat. Hop in, and cruise with your guide down the river. As you go, take in the beautiful sights during sunrise of the temples and buildings that line the waterfront in Varanasi.

Spot local Hindus making offerings to the river, which they consider to be sacred. You can also watch a few holy morning rituals while you pass. Once you’ve finished with this tour, your guide shows you back to your air-conditioned vehicle for the ride to your hotel.
