Short and beautiful

Dahlia_S, Jan 2026
Store opened promptly. It was very warm inside to suit the plant life and mimic the natural habit of the birds. The staff were nice and watched our stroller. It was a short beautiful walk, considering our toddler. Many beautiful, well kept birds. Maintained path and gardening.

This was so tranquil. ...

This was so tranquil. The manicures lawns & the flowerbeds are beautiful. The paths around the Conservatory to see the Parrots was cool. I highly recommend this .

Parrots!

Courtney_C, Apr 2025
Very fun, just a little small. Lots to see though! The parrots are definitely the focal point! However avoid weekends if possible as the place was packed.

Worth traversing the snowy trails!

Jason_V, Feb 2025
During winter, the trails up to the Conservatory are frozen over with snow… more challenging to reach… but once there, it is BEAUTIFUL!! The birds and foliage are breathtaking!! Highly enjoyed and will return on my next trip to Vancouver!

Nice but short visit

Mark_D, Oct 2024
The conservatory is beautiful and i loved seeing the parrots. I'm not a big plant fan so we walked round in about 20 minutes.

Kids tour

MariaMadalena_G, Jul 2024
It was fine but this tour should have as a target public: kids! It's kinda small but pretty much well organized and cleaned! The animals and plants are well treated for sure. If you have kids, just go and they will love it!

Nature beauty and so peaceful

Inderpreet_K, Jul 2024
I went there with my family and my daughter she loved the most. She was so happy to see different kinda a parrots/birds there. Very beautiful flowers and green all around. It was great 😊

Thea's 92nd Birthday celebration!

Theadora_V, Jul 2024
Everything. Especially that the construction was originally done by Thea's husband & brothers, ie. Van Construction.

Small place but with variety of plants to see

MariaGina_G, Jul 2024
They have different flowers, plants and parrots to see. Outside you may take a walk and see more trees and plants.

All Positive Fun

Great educational experience. Relaxing tropical tour with colourful plants and birds. Includes benches for sitting and convenient washrooms. Restaurant nearby is excellant.

Green day!!!

Jelena_D, Mar 2024
Most memorable moment was dancing parrot 🦜 and two mouses 🐁 that were playing on the ground. Also beautiful flowers, big leafs .. is amazing how big leafs 🌱 are compared to people.

Horrible experience

Prascillia_D, Sep 2023
Well I got dressed up in my wedding clothes and wanted to take photographs it was only my husband and myself and photographer NO WEDDING PARTY they were very rude and unprofessional then in rude manner told us we could rent it for 1000 dollars which for 3 people who had reserved tickets is complete rip off staff there need to learn thing or too about customer service.

Saturday Fun for all ages

Rome_Y, Jan 2023
Very tropical and enjoyable, a great outing for all ages and occasions. It was my first time taking my daughter to see the birds and plants, she was very intrigued with the fish in the river. It was a pleasant visit and we will be going back occasionally.

Hola to Bloedel!!!🦜🌸

Gagandeep_S, Jul 2022
The water wheel reminds us of by Punjab village and the parrots 🦜 are certainly most lovely things you have guys. Also, the plants collection is amazing!!! Totally worth of money..

Such a beautiful...

Sheetal_S, May 2022
Such a beautiful experience. ❤️❤️ I would definitely recommend that you visit the conservatory. The view from the highest point in Vancouver is also a bonus.

It was beautiful and...

Chloe_C, Mar 2022
It was beautiful and humid, my boyfriend and I had a wonderful time walking around the dome. There wasn’t an issue with having to wait to continue on, and there was so much to see. Will definitely be coming back :)

Beautiful

disneygal72, Aug 2019
Beautiful place but not the easiest place to get to if you aren’t renting a car during your vacation. Taxis don’t seem to know where the entrance is when you need picked up. The birds were gorgeous, and their living space is just beautiful. Well taken care of too!! Worth the ticket but again getting there was frustrating.
