What an amazing tour! Glenn is a masterful storyteller who weaves together a unified history of the community and city. He honors the lives of real people in a deeply insightful way. We laughed, we cried and we learned a lot. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in a deeper understanding of Vancouver.

Amazing tour! Glenn was very knowledgeable, eloquent speaker, and passionate about the information he was sharing. The tour gave me a much deeper appreciation of Vancouver, and the lgbt pioneers who fought for the rights we have today.

We had a fantastic time on Glenn’s tour and would highly recommend it. Glenn is truly gifted at what he does and puts a lot of heart and thought into sharing a lesser known history of Vancouver. He has a way of providing the perfect mix of history, storytelling, and personality to keep you engaged. We couldn’t have asked for a better, more memorable experience to take away from our trip.

Amazing tour. You can tell our guide had really done a ton of research and gave accurate information. I never expected to learn so much and be so moved by the stories shared. Exceptionally well done. I would absolutely recommend if you’re even just considering it.

History of Vancouver and its people…
Hearing it for the first time how it has been, how it has evolved and how far we have changed as society….though there is always place for improvement …

Here from Australia and wanted to learn about Vancouver’s queer history. Thanks Glenn for a fabulously fascinating tour!!

Glenn is kind, generous & interesting; he brought the Tour locations to life with animated (true) historic stories that captivated us all. Highly recommend. Happy Pride!

Thank you, Glenn

This tour is clearly prepared with a whole lot of love. My friends and I took this tour hoping to learn more about the queer scene in Vancouver while visiting and boy were our expectations blown. It was truly fascinating and fun and a relatively easy walk! The queer history we learned will stay with me forever. This is a must-do!

This was an exceptional way to be educated while having some fun. With Vancouver having such a large number of participants and attendees at the Pride parade I figured what better place to take a tour regarding gay history. I was not disappointed. I highly recommend this activity

We visited Vancouver for the first time and scheduled this tour on our last day. It was especially nice having it on the last day because we had already toured on our own a lot of the different areas and shops that were discussed in this tour but did not realize the significance of them and it was very moving

Excellent guide Glenn! A truly enlightening experience. Both pain and joy of life history in Canada and beyond.
Rebecca_K, May 2022
Glenn was an absolute delight. He showed respect for topics that needed it, and levity when the option to do so was there. I'd be very happy to take the tour again after a few years, to see how he'll change things up and what other fun things I can learn!
