Bucket List for sure! Very professionally run seaplane company- beautiful trip to/from Whistler- great pilots and staff! Whistler is gorgeous and so much to do in a day- hiking, biking, walking, shopping, lunching….so glad we did this!

This tour exceeded our expectations. Our pilot took us over some glaciers and mountains on our way to Whistler. The plane ride was scenic and so much fun. We bought additional tickets for peak to peak gondola. We hiked up top and went on the suspension bridge.

Itinerary

Instead of driving to Whistler from Vancouver, book this round-trip seaplane flight that gives you breathtaking aerial views and shorter travel time.

Check in for your flight to Whistler at the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre at 8:30am. Aboard the seaplane that takes off at 9am, admire the aerial landscapes during the 35-minute flight. Land at Green Lake, Whistler, at 9:45am, and hop aboard a free shuttle to Whistler Village. Or if you’d like to get some exercise in, pick up a complimentary bike rental (helmet and lock included) and pedal off to the village.

In Whistler Village, try any number of activities (own expense), including Peak 2 Peak, ziplining, hiking, shopping and more — it’s up to you.

After a pleasant day, take the 6:10pm shuttle back to the Whistler Air/Harbour Air base. Check in at the Green Lake terminal at 6:40pm. Your seaplane is scheduled to depart at 7pm and touches down at the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre at 7:40pm.

All passengers travelling must be ambulatory in order to fly. A mobility assistance device, such as a wheelchair or cane, may be used by a passenger to get from the terminal to the aircraft, however, passengers must have the ability to walk on and off the aircraft with minimal or no assistance.

This was an amazing sea plane experience that I would highly recommend. The check in at the Harbour Air Terminal was easy. As passengers we got complimentary drinks. We could have had a light breakfast, such as a muffin. The views during the flight were spectacular and the take off and landing were extremely smooth. A shuttle was provided to and from Whistler to the Green Lake where the sea plane was based for the day. It was interesting to see Whistler but our main purpose was to experience a sea plane flight. Great trip.

We had a flight delay due to bad weather in Whistler so our day was shortened, but, first timers on sea plane was an amazing experience, a real must do! On arrival at Whistler we went to Peak to Peak via gondola and chairlift, well worth it but be aware it takes a few hours and wear sensible shoes as part is hiking territory.

Great flight and a fun, active day in Whistler . The pilot up and back was fantastic. Friendly and very professional. They were wonderful hikes to do, and the gondola rides are amazing. The downtown areas were shopping and restaurants also made for an easy day.

The total experience of this tour was amazing. We booked the last flight of the sesson to Whistler. We had excellent weather and the views were great. The bus driver for the transfer to Whistler Villiage was very polite and engaging. Would recommend this tour. Cant wait todo it again.

Great experience overall. Our check-in experience with Amanda was awesome. She was professional, informative, and friendly. She took her time with us and answered all of our questions. The flight to Whistler was amazing. We had a comfortable ride and the scenery was breathtaking! The landing was super smooth. For the return flight the plane temperature was very hot until about 10 minutes after take off. From the time we boarded the plane until take off it was another 15 minutes at least. I thought I was going to pass out. Once it started cooling down I felt much better. I was a flight attendant and understand planes so I’m not sure that the pilot could have done anything. We still loved the experience and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Wow what a trip. Everything was so smooth. Free coffee and cake whilst waiting to board. Friendly and helpful staff from check in to pilot and driver. Stunning scenery and pilot made every effort to make sure we got great views of the glacier and mountains. You land on a lake a few minutes drive from the village centre but get shuttled in and back on a minibus. Plenty of time to explore whistler including doing the gondola trip to the top. Equally wonderful flight back.

Great experience ultimately let down by the operating company

Overall this trip was an excellent experience. The only let down was what I believe to be the completely poor customer service experience of Harbour Air. The return flight was cancelled due to poor weather which was understandable but absolutely no offer of assistance was received on how to get back from Whistler to Vancouver. Harbour Air are a let down to the reputation of Canadian hospitality.

The plane ride was the best part of our trip. The views of the mountains were absolutely breathtaking! The flight is only 35 minutes, far better than the long drive to Whistler. Was a great experience taking off and landing in the water. Highly recommend for the views alone!

Just unpleasant

My booking despite the the fact that it was done months before was a mess. Got emails saying the flight was at 10:00 am had a ticket with 10:00 am on it, but according to check in there was no 10:00 am flight. We were more than an hour early so with a few minutes to spare we literally gotshoved onto the 9 am flight after being screamed at because we could not produce vaccination papers fast enough. Oh this was not mentioned on the ticket by the way. Short bumpy flight pretty high most of the time. We arrive to no shuttle and a scrabble to get folks on the plane into Whistler. On the return same deal, no shuttle not in action. A taxi pitches up 15 mins later than time described, we were not the only unhappy, uncertain passengers. Ground staff did not take ownership of problems. It was very much not their fault.
