Llamas walking tour

Arlyce_L, Sep 2025
The llamas were very well behaved. Very fun. You don’t get to hike with llamas everyday. I’d give it a 10

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Thank you so much for the 10/10 review! We’re glad you had such a fun time—and our llamas will be proud to hear they were on their best behavior. You’re right, you don’t get to hike with llamas every day, and we’re honored you chose to do it with us. Come see us again anytime!

What a great tour!!

Kathleen_G, Jul 2025
Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable about the area. My llama’s name is Jimmy and boy we had a blast. My spouse had Wolfie and he was also a good llama. If you have an opportunity to do this tour, do it. The area is very close pretty and we learned a lot about the history and saw some very cool things. After the tour we fed our llamas treats and then we met the rest of the llamas. So much fun!

“Thank you so much for coming out with us and for taking the time to leave this wonderful review! We’re so glad you had a blast with Jimmy and that your spouse and Wolfie hit it off too, he’s a pretty special trail buddy. 😊 It makes our day to hear you enjoyed the scenery and the stories of this country, there’s so much history tucked into these red rock places. And yes, the post-hike treats and meeting the rest of the llama crew is always a fan favorite! We’d love to have you back anytime you’re in Capitol Reef country for another adventure on the trail.”

Amazing!!

Most incredible trip! Katie was an amazing guide who made hiking with the llamas like walking our dogs at home. The llamas were so sweet!

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Thank you kindly for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you had an incredible trip, and we love hearing that Katie made the llama hike feel as easy and natural as walking dogs at home, that’s exactly the relaxed, fun pace we aim for. And yes, our llamas are sweet as can be. Thanks again for coming out with us, and we’d love to have you back anytime for another stroll through red rock country with a few fuzzy trail partners.”

Awesome hike with llamas!

Our family of four (2 older teens) had an amazing time!! Kristie (spelling?) was an awesome guide - explained how to lead our llamas well, kept an eye on us and them, and shared interesting stories. The llamas were tons of fun - such expressive creatures, each with their own personalities. We’re animal lovers and this was the perfect experience. Add in the amazing views in Torrey, and this couldn’t have been better!

An Absolute Must!

This company is awesome! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Especially, great with kids (ages 9 & 10). The scenery during the two hour hike was extraordinary. And... the llama's were extremely adorable, all with unique personalities. If you're looking for something to remember for a lifetime, then this is it!

This is really fun to read. One of our favorite things is sharing our llamas and the landscape with families. Thank you for trusting us with your vacation time and for the kind words. Have a great summer season.
