The roads at Capitol reef...

Jeremy_C, Jun 2025
The roads at Capitol reef were under construction, making this audio tour useless. The company should have suspended sales of this tour since it was useless!

Response from Host, Jun 2025

Hi Jeremy, thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused by the road construction. As noted in the listing's additional information section and endpoint descriptions, we were aware of the closure and have already updated the details. Our tour is valid for a year, so you can still enjoy it when the roads reopen. If you'd like a refund or replacement, please feel free to contact me directly between 9 and 6 EST. I’m happy to assist!

Beware—Scenic Road is closed

Carrie_F, Aug 2024
We were loving the tour BUT the Scenic Road was closed. It won’t open till October. We didn’t get to the spots where we could see #22-#28. Ugh! We listened to them and tried to imagine what they looked like.

Response from Host, Aug 2024

Carrie, I'm glad you loved my Capitol Reef National Park Self-Driving Audio Tour! Unfortunately, the Scenic Road was closed, and you missed some spots. If you're considering more national park adventures, consider exploring the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, or any other 25+ parks in my self-guided tour bundle. No go until 2025

Mark_H, Jul 2024
Capitol Reef Natl Park Scenic drive is closed until Nov 2024. I had already purchased this before that notification was public. I have requested a refund as we decided to change our travel itinerary since a large portion was no longer available to the public.

Response from Host, Jul 2024

Mark, thanks for the feedback. You missed the update in your inbox about the Scenic Drive being closed until November. We try our best to keep everyone informed, but it's always a good idea to double-check operating hours before a trip, just in case. The good news is the tour is valid for a whole year so that you can use it anytime between now and next July! If that doesn't work for you, reply, and we'll gladly process a refund.

I felt like we had a ranger riding along with us.

Kevin_P, Jun 2024
The view, the scenery, the photos, the narrative, everything about our visit to Capitol Reef was nothing short of spectacular.

Response from Host, Jun 2024

Didn’t work for me.

Sheila_J, Jun 2024
Had everything downloaded as instructed, tried it prior to going to park and once we got there could not get it to work. Disappointing. Could not figure out what I did wrong. Thought I had followed instructions. Only time I have ever had an issue with any Viator tour. Have used them all over the US and Europe.

Response from Host, Jun 2024

Sheila, I'm sorry my Capitol Reef audio tour didn't work for you! This is super rare, and I want to make things right. If you're still in the park, shoot me an email ASAP, and I'll help troubleshoot. Otherwise, let me know, and I'll get you a full refund right away.
