Zantastic Zion

MaryBeth_K, Dec 2025
This app worked perfectly driving in any direction. Lots of good tips and it was great to have a hands-free narrated experience.

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Need practice.

Joyce_O, Oct 2025
This is a great idea. We had some struggles trying to connect two pairs of earbuds to one phone with the download on it! We wound up splitting one pair, which was fine. But there was some “jerkiness “ to the process as we were on and off the shuttle. Then our earbuds died. I could do it better a second time.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Joyce, I’m glad you liked my Zion Self-Guided Audio Tour, though you had some audio issues. Were you using Bluetooth or wired earbuds? Did the playback problem happen only on the shuttle or throughout the tour? This info helps me improve and assist you better. I can help troubleshoot or give tips for your next visit — available daily 9-6 EST. If you're planning more, check out my Utah Mighty 5 Bundle—Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce, and Monument Valley in one app!

Totally worth the money

Debra_H, Jun 2025
Fantastic. As you drive along the route, it automatically gives you points of interest on the drive and discusses historical tidbits.

Response from Host, Jun 2025

Debra, I’m so glad you found the Zion tour fantastic and worth it. It’s great to hear the automatic audio and historical stories added to your drive. If you're planning more adventures, check out my Utah Mighty 5 Bundle—you’ll get Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce, and Monument Valley in one seamless experience. More parks, more stories, one app!

love these guided tours,...

Michele_D, May 2025
love these guided tours, with all the extra tidbits of information about the history of things as we walk or right through it. The only drawback is when in a national park, with sketchy signal, when you stop/restart a tour, it takes a longer amount of time to catch up with current location to continue. So long sometimes that it will start talking again about something you passed 15 minutes ago,

Response from Host, May 2025

Michele, I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed my guided tour and the historical tidbits along the way. You're absolutely right—the national park signal can be tricky. The good news is the app works fully offline once it's downloaded and set up correctly, so you won’t need service to continue. If you restart while driving, just give it a moment, and it’ll sync back up, especially when following the route and adhering to the speed limit. If you plan to explore more of Utah, don’t miss my Ultimate Utah Bundle Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour; it features Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, and more.

Not the best experience

Lynda_H, Oct 2024
The app kept repeating segments we already heard. Choppy, at best. The frustration of figuring out how to sync the app to our locations undermined the entire experience. Yes, I am very data savvy. This should have been a snap.

Response from Host, Oct 2024

Lynda, I’m sorry to hear the experience with my Zion National Park Self-Guided Driving & Shuttling Tour wasn't as smooth as expected. My app shouldn’t repeat segments unless you’re going back and forth at the same attraction or if the app is restarted multiple times. When reopening, the app will ask if you want to resume or start over—choosing “resume” will pick up from where you left off. Just follow the provided route in the app for a seamless experience. The tour works offline and is valid for a year, so I hope you’ll try it again!

Unable to launch

Lesley_C, Jun 2024
Was unable to launch the tour after watching the tutorial so we weren’t able to use it. I’m sure it may have provided interesting information.

Response from Host, Jun 2024

Lesley, I’m sorry to hear that you couldn’t take my self-guided audio tour in Zion. I’m available from 5am-5pm to help with anything and everything. Happy to refund you for this of course. Let’s try again on your next road trip adventure.

Problems with app

Laurence_W, Mar 2024
Good explanation but the app is no suitable with every cel, it works with iphone and I beleive it is a point to be improved.

Response from Host, Mar 2024

Laurence, thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you experienced with the app. Our app supports every phone, but please ensure your device runs iOS 13 or above for iPhones. For Android phones, make sure your device is running Android version 9 or above. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our app for all users.

would’ve been great if the park ranger had to close the drive

Dana_O, Dec 2023
The parts that I was able to do were great they were very informative. But unfortunately Park Rangers had closed off most of the scenic drive so I didn’t get to listen to a lot of it

Response from Host, Dec 2023

Dana, I'm glad you found the parts of the Zion National Park Audio Tour you could experience informative and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the park rangers closed parts of the scenic drive, limiting your whole tour experience. I appreciate your understanding in these unforeseen circumstances. If you're planning more travels and explorations, don’t forget to check out my Action+ Tour Bundle for over 100 more self-guided adventures.

Self tour

Wendy_R, Dec 2022
Easy to use but unfortunately it start over every time we would go offline. Got alittle annoying but nonetheless we saw everything on the self tour

Response from Host, Dec 2022

Thank you so much for your feedback, Wendy! The tour will start from where you left off if the app runs in the background, but if you kill it and start everything again, it will start over. I'm delighted that my tour of Zion added to your learning and that you enjoyed it. I also have 100 other self-guided tours for other parks, scenic drives, cities, and historic sites in the US — hopefully, you’ll get the chance to try them next time! Also, to remind you, the tour you bought is yours for a lifetime. So, you can listen to it at home or on your next visit.

Audio tour

Ruth_B, Oct 2022
I downloaded the app when I had good connection. When I got there, went to the Zion visitor center and ranger helped me connect to the internet, but as soon as I started hiking down a trail, no internet. But when I got to the next stop, the audio tour automatically came on! And it was interesting and helpful.

Response from Host, Oct 2022

Thank you so much for your feedback, Ruth! I’m thrilled that my tour of Zion National Park added to your learning and that you enjoyed it. I also have 100 other self-guided tours for other parks, scenic drives, cities, and historic sites in the US — hopefully, you’ll get the chance to try them next time! Also, just to remind you, the tour you bought is yours for a lifetime. So, you can listen to it at home or on your next visit.

Highly recommend!!

Stacy_H, Aug 2022
The driving tour was fantastic especially for anyone who doesn’t love to hike. There were many places to pull off and take pictures. The shuttle bus at Zion was basically for those who wanted to hike the trails and we really wanted to see the beautiful scenery without that. Would highly recommend!!

Response from Host, Aug 2022

Thanks so much Stacy! That’s so wonderful to hear! Zion is a breathtakingly gorgeous location with plenty to see for visitors. We do our best to provide that all. I’m so delighted that you enjoyed my tour of Zion. I have 100 other tours in the USA. Please check them out on your next vacation. Also, just to remind you that the tour you bought is yours for a lifetime. So, you can listen to it at home or on your next visit also.

Not a good idea in canyons

Casey_G, Jun 2021
I could not get cell service to use the self driving tour of Zion. I do not recommend getting this unless your cell phone works in canyons.

Response from Host, Jun 2021

Sorry for the inconvenience. Yes, cell signal is horrible at all national Parks but we do recommend downloading the tour before you arrive at Zion National Park. The tour works offline. But anyways We’d also be happy to offer a refund since you didn’t have a great experience.

Bad experience , no telp to call , the phone is only on the truck , hope you give contact no , so if something happens

lita_m, May 2021
The address you gave us took us to a wrong place , we use Apple Map , we tried to call , no telp number to call on the voucher or Viator side , I text them at around 800 and no answer till 11.37 . When we finally arrived at the meeting place , tried to call the no , no answer till 11.37 . In the mean time the person in the Kane visitors center offered another co that still has opening in the afternoon , so we use them , since we have not heard from you , please refund our money

Response from Host, May 2021

We don’t really understand your review — please give us a call ASAP. From our records, there were no calls at 11:37 (or from the number attached to your account). Perhaps you called TripAdvisor or Viator and not us. We can also see that the password email and text message were sent to you on time. (Please check your spam folder if you don’t see it). You can get our contact info from the password email, text message, website, or from our app. We’re available all day over call, chat, and email. Lastly, this is a self-guided tour, not a guided one. There is no guide to meet at the starting place. The starting place is simply the starting location of the self-guided tour. Please be sure to follow the 4 Steps laid out in the password email, which explains what to do.

Terrible

Tracie_B, Apr 2021
We asked for a refund because when we got to the visitor center they told us we had to ride a shuttle in Zion's and we would have to buy it from Zion's. The tickets for the tram were sold out so we couldn't go.

Response from Host, Apr 2021

This is a self-guided tour and not a shuttle ticket, as described above. It is possible to enjoy this tour while visiting Zion via any vehicle (car, shuttle, bike, RV) but we don’t provide that transportation — this is only a tour. Nevertheless, we are always happy to refund if the experience wasn’t a great one. Please contact us with your booking receipt.
