Wow! We saw a lot today: batik shop, monkey forest, rice terrace, luwak coffee farm, two temples and a waterfall. The weather was rainy but we expected it so it wasn’t a problem. Our guide, Dewa Alit, could not have been nicer and had a great sense of humor. He was very knowledgeable and an excellent driver. We felt safe with him at all times. We would highly recommend him as a guide/driver and this tour.

Well worth booking! Agung was well informed about many Balinese habits and places. We wanted to understand the rice planting and harvesting and he was able to explain it well. He was knowledgeable on almost everything we asked about. He was a good driver and companion on our day of exploring the area. We also went to a temple, a coffee plantation, waterfall and silver and wood shopping. He was patient and helpful. It was a good day, Thank you!

Loved the parts of the tour but poor communication meant we were of the video entrance fees were included (stickers had entrance fees as an inclusion & exclusion)! We didn’t know otherwise until we were at the 1st attraction (Monkey Sanctuary)…when we contacted the tour operator (Sun Tours) she said we could cancel the tour (not particularly helpful as we were already on the tour!)…very disappointing!!

We began with the monkey forest, then a beautiful purification temple, the rice paddy’s and ended with the waterfall. Pong never rushed us, gave us lots of insight on Hindu customs, and knew where the less touristy spots were! He even did a few few photo stops and took pics of us. All entry fees were included! He even treated us to a sample of mangosteen! He would have taken us to more sights, but we were ready for a dip in the pool! Great driver and great English!!!

This is a very good tour if you want to see multiple highlights of Ubud in one day to get a real flavour for the area, and back for the evening. Our driver/guide Pandu was fantastic - well informed, articulate, patient and funny - a wonderful companion for the day. Pandu came with us on each experience, bought tickets and ensured smooth entry and max enjoyment. He was also flexible and advised how we could configure trip to take in what we wanted including extra coffee tasting, well worth it, and still stay on track. Nb great for kids (ours 14 and 11) but not for those with limited mobility - many (sometimes v steep) steps. Other tip - even if you can book 0830 earliest, when your driver gets in touch via WhatsApp see if you can start earlier - traffic gets bad v quickly.
