Bali Day Trip From Cruise Ship

Kantun was a great guide. Very personable and knowledgeable.He selected different places for us to visit. He either walked us through each stop or dropped us off and was there to pick us up. He took us to a great place for an authentic Bali lunch. Though traffic was heavy he covered a lot of distance and got us back to ship in time. It was extremely hot and humid during the day and his air conditioning worked great in his car!

This was a very nice excursion. Our driver Gede was exceptional, he made a day of fighting traffic enjoyable, was very flexible and gave us much information about Bali. The tour itself was interesting, we especially enjoyed Ubud and the making of Batik. Highly recommend this tour, highly recommend Gede our driver.

We saw it all, best tour guide!!

We were picked up by Jay at the port getting off a great Celebrity cruise. We had a partial list but refined it with our guide. With one day for tours and one for beach he got us efficiently and thoroughly through EVERYTHING we wanted to see and believe me, quite a list. Best was Monkey Sanctuary and lunch with a view of the terraced rice fields plus going to the coffee plantation. Yummy tea!! Not rushed, a lot of comments. Jay knows a lot and was a pleasure to spend the day with. THANK YOU Viator and Jay. At the end he delivered us to our hotel. GENEROUS tip with every penny!!

Great Day in Bali

After a delayed start due to late ship arrival (which was not a problem) we finally met Pit, our driver guide, at the pier and planned our day. We were able to cover everything we wanted to see and more, and throughly enjoyed our tour. Highlights included Ubud town, the Tegalalang rice terraces and The Tegenungan Waterfalls.. Pit was very accommodating and generous with his time.

As we have been to Bali several times, we arranged this tour on 11 December 2018 to give us maximum flexibility as we did not need a tour guide. In consultation with our driver Kadek, we planned a route that let us see some out of the way places and revisit others. Kadek is an superb driver and we felt safe all the time. We had a good lunch overlooking Mt Batu and the lake and then took some back-roads from there. We ended up in Ubud for a stop to see the wares on display. All in all it was an excellent day and we saw things we never would have seen with a standard tour. It was an excellent day.

We arrived on Princess Cruises and wanted to have open plans and not committed to a large tour group for this day so what better way than your own Private driver for the day. Wow this worked out so much cheaper than what options the Ship provided and we could pick our itinerary. I cannot rate our driver high enough 10/10. His name was Gede Sutamba and spoken great English, well educated and informative but this lovely man had a beautiful demeanor that made our day so much better and very stress free. Don't think about it just book it as traffic is a nightmare in Bali and you don't want to be in a big bus stuck in traffic all day.

Driver and car were waiting for us at the cruise port. Our driver was excellent looked after us well, even though it was the first time he had done a tour from the cruise port, he recommended places for us to go and made sure we were back in plenty of time for our tender to the ship.
