We had a fantastic day! Our trekking guide Tia was absolutely amazing - she explained everything so well, we learned a lot from her, and she was such a pleasure to have as our guide. Our driver Utu Adi was also very kind; he shared lots of interesting information with us, and we really enjoyed chatting with him. The things we saw during the tour were beautiful, and the whole experience felt truly magical.

We were quite disappointed in the tour…. (we went September 2024). We had booked the tour at 10.00. When we arrived at the meeting point our guide wasn’t there, we called the booking company, eventually he arrived at around 10.30. In the information of the tour it said we would get a welcoming drink and cake, we didn’t get anything. We would go to two lakes, we only got to one. In a lot of reviews it says that people got traditional balinese food, we didn’t get it. We were also supposed to go to a market, but didn’t go there. In the information it said that the tour would take about 8 to 10 hours. Our tour took barely 3 hours. After the waterfalls we expected to go somewhere else because it had only been 3 hours but our guide just said ‘okay thanks for the tour, bye’. Maybe it depends on which guide you have because i see a lot of positive reviews on here, our guide didn’t seem to really want to make an afford, he also told us he was hangover haha. All in all we were quite disappointed (also for the price and what the tour was supposed to be).

Our driver arrived one hour before scheduled pick up and waited for us to finish our breakfast. The drive to and from the lakes takes between 1-1.5h, which our driver managed very comfortably. Our young guide Dedy led us through the half-jungle and noticed our interest in the vegetation and gave us a lot of information about the different species and how they may be used locally. The trail was easy to walk but very fun. After finishing the trail by crossing the lake where we enjoyed some snacks Dedy brought, we could have a look inside a lakeside temple. The hospitality and food at the balinese house were great for lunch. After lunch we visited a coffee plantation where we could try a variety of different coffees and teas before continuing to the waterfalls. In contrast to the majority of visitors Dedy recommended going to the smaller waterfall one in the back which we thus had completely to ourselves!
Overall we had a great time and can recommend the tour especially with Dedy.

Exciting and very immersive tour! It has just the right amount of everything. Our guide, Luhde, took excellent care of us. She was friendly, helpful and FUN! She taught us many facts about the jungle, temple and waterfall. We even learned some Balinese! We would book her again in the future! 10/10!!!!!

Lovely expedition with the guidance of locals who know the places and the story’s very well. Driver Edi and guide Darma made sure we had a nice day.
The jungle trekking was fun and interesting, chill canoe trip on the lake with delicious selfmade snacks and Coffee from the guide and a Refreshing swim under the waterfall. After the trip we got served a delicious traditional lunch in a local house and were shown the traditional way of making Coffee.
Overall a super fun experience with very nice en funny people. Perfect Munduk experience!

Our tour guide and driver (both named Anung), were just great. They were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. We were a bit anxious about the challenge of the hike but Anung adjusted the trail to ensure that we were able to make the trek. The canoe trip was a nice gentle ride across one of the lakes (there were two local women who did most of the rowing even though we participated). Anung brought us some Balinese rice cakes which were a nice treat. The stop at the waterfalls was refreshing and we got some nice IG pics there. Our last stop was the best - lunch with Anung's family at their house. The food was tasty and nicely presented. Our hosts were showed us around and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this tour as it will give you a different perspective of Bali - the weather was cooler and fresher while the landscapes were more mountainous.

My very First time visit Bali. Tried varies agents for different tours. Most of them have same issues of driver and guide is the same person and very unprofessional with very poor English, I thought that’s the Bali is, just have to take the bullets and never go back again.
At my very last day in Bali I found this agent and this particular tour, the guide speak very good English, very professional and friendly, driver is also very kind as well. The tour itself showed me the quiet side of North, did fabulous walk and also being offered extra adventurous of explore more in the natures and waterfall. Absolutely the best day I ever had in Bali.
I will definitely going back to Bali and use their serivce again! 7 stars!

This was one of the best days we’ve had in Bali! What an awesome tour company that supports locals. We started with a nice jungle hike. Then we were on canoes across Lake Tambligan. Our guide had coffee and cake for us as we canoed across. We then went to a waterfall and finally ended up at a local family’s house where we were fed a delicious lunch and local coffee. The best way to experience real Bali with locals! Dharma our guide was fabulous as well as Putu the driver. You should book with this company!

The people who organized the tour did an amazing job putting together the steps for the day. The driver picked us up on time and was very accommodating if we needed to stop somewhere. He brought us first to take pictures with the iconic gate where u pay 30k and the rest of the trip was covered by the tour price. We met our guide Agun, he was super prepared, was a very pleasant and friendly company for the day. He kept us safe and happy. The views were beyond our expectations and the best part of the day was meeting the family who cooked lunch for us and welcomed us into their home for us to have an authentic Bali experience. We loved every bit of it.

The trip was an amazing look at the side of Bali that I think most visitors don't look at. We went on a guided trek through the jungle, then went on a canoe ride across Lake Tamblingan. We then had lunch at a local villager's house before we headed down to a waterfall. It was a nice change to most scenic routes in Bali where, even though beautiful, you do feel like you have to jostle through a whole group of tourists. Because our trip visited places that were not 'hot spots' it felt more quiet. The lunch at a local villager's house was a nice added touch and beats eating at an overpriced restaurant.
Our guide Pak Komang and his team were very nice, attentive, and more than willing to provide voiceover for the various natural or cultural points throughout the way. He even took me and my group to a quick stop on to a Kopi Luwak shop, which was really nice.
Highly recommended trip and a total bang for your buck!

Had amazing time on jungle trek, canoe, waterfall. No cheesy shops, tourists, or traffic. Clear, beautiful views of rice paddies, lakes, mountains. Guide was patient snd fun. Food excellent, and waterfall had no crowds or annoying stores. Top notch

Great tour, but really hard going at times! Very steep and slippery terrain. The guides were fantastic, particularly Komang, nothing was too much trouble. We had a group of seven ladies and some of our group were unable to complete the trek, so they altered the tour slightly to accomodate them while the rest of us continued the trek. The canoeing was less taxing and lovely and peaceful. Beautiful scenery and a lovely part of Bali. I would highly recommend this tour if you have a reasonable level of fitness and want to experience a different side of Bali from the touristy areas.
