Overview

Ride off the beaten track during your Bali vacation aboard your own all-terrain vehicle (ATV). Climb onto a quad bike and follow a guide along a challenging track, suitable for all skill levels. Motor past a picturesque landscape of rice fields, bamboo forest, and lush riverside flanked by traditional Balinese villages. Showers, lunch, refreshments, all safety gear, and insurance coverage are included. Enhance your experience by upgrading to add transport or other fun activities such as white-water rafting or Ubud sightseeing.

Itinerary

If you’ve opted for a tour with round-trip transfers, your morning starts with pickup from your Ubud or south Bali hotel. If not, meet at the ATV site.

If you’ve selected a tandem ride, there’ll be two of you on the ATV, so you’ll need to decide who gets to drive. If you’ve picked a solo ride, you’ll have a vehicle all to yourself.

Your instructor/guide will kit you out with a helmet and boots for protection, then show you how to use the simple controls. Then you’re off, roaring along a challenging but beginner-friendly track past jungle, rivers, and waterfalls—and even through a tunnel.

After your ride, there’s a shower waiting so you can wash the mud off and change your clothes. Once you’ve freshened up, enjoy a local lunch.

If you’ve opted to add white-water rafting, a waterfall tour, an Ubud tour, a Bali swing experience, or both swings and waterfalls, your day continues. If not, your experience ends when you return to your hotel.

Minimum age that allowed to do this adventure is 5 years with an adult present (tandem ride).
Solo ride means you will have one quad bike for each person with minimum age of 16 years.
Tandem ride means you will ride only 1 ATV for two people (a rider and a passenger).
Tandem ride also must be booked in multiples of 2, e.g: 2, 4, 6, 8 travellers.

Children from age 5-11 years must have an adult present - passenger tandem ride.
The ATV - Quad Bike rides itself will be around 1,5 hours through tunnel, puddles, small river, etc.
The duration of the trip from pickup till drop off will depends on the package you booked (5-10 hours)
All options including of: ATV ride experience, professional guide, all safety gear (helmets and boots), lunch, shower facilities, insurance, and lockers.
For option w/ Ubud Tour including of: all rider ATV ride experience with private transfer plus visit Ubud art handicrafts, Tegalalang Rice Terraces, and Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest.
For option w/ Bali Swing including of: all rider ATV ride experience with private transfer plus Bali Swing Pioneer Active package.
For option w/ Waterfalls Tour including of: all rider ATV ride experience with private transfer plus visit Tibumana and Kanto Lampo Waterfalls, and Ubud art handicrafts
For option All Rider, Swing, Tegenungan including of: all rider ATV plus Ubud Swing, Tegenungan Waterfalls, and Ubud art handicrafts.

Our ATV adventure with Bali Sun Tours was epic! We rode through beautiful rice terraces and muddy courses that were a lot of fun. Our driver Oka who collected us from our accomodation was very knowledgeable and entertained us on the drive there and back, and even offered to tour us around the next day. Would highly recommend this tour and Oka as a driver.

I wanted to add another person and contacted the tour operator, he replied and then I never heard back. That’s the only down side of this trip! No one returned my text and Viator messages. The tour guide was very nice and we did have so much fun driving the ATV. Cool activity for kids, my daughter loved it!

Although we booked not knowing it was in USD and cost a little more than we had hoped to spend the experience was awesome. All the staff were very friendly and made sure we had a great time. The course was excellent and maybe not a good idea if you're a first timer, although the staff did those in need within seconds. Finished off with a shower to freshen up followed by a complimentary lunch which was very nice. Would recommend this ATV experience for sure.

Risky, bad insurance, no responsibility taken for company negligence

Insurance maxes out at about $600 for medical and $6000 for death or permanent disablement and you must sign away any claim by you or your descendants to go on swing or at from not just your own accidents but negligence of any sort by the company. This information is not available until after you get to the atv office and they ask you to sign.

I had the worst experience with this company I had broken 4 ribs and punctured my lung and the tour guide wanted me to keep riding said I just winded myself then quickly said no refund when I said I was a nurse and knew what was happening . Very rude when I ask for insurance details and told me it was my fault . Would not recommend this for anyone very bad kept motorbikes and trip was so short and not worth your time

Warning if you finished the first ride too quickly they will not let you do another lap, they said riding for 1 hour 45 mins but we only rode for 45mins

I did the hotel pickup with water fall and monkey forest. Kept was very responsive the day before and punctional. He was able to point things out along the way and provided excellent and safe transport between every event.

Such a fun experience The tracks are a bit treacherous in parts personally I would bring children on this (although someone did!) Staff are awesome and really monitor the trip well Definitely recommend 👌

The quad biking was so great! The place was beautiful, with a lovely pool to swim in after! Our guide was so funny and lovely and we had so much fun on the overall ride! Would definitely recommend! We would come back and do it again! ☺️

Not worth the money

The advertisement is misleading: the price seemed to be around 35 USD, but after some clicks you discover it is the price for sharing the ATV while the actual price is double. After searching for ATV and choosing that option you face a cascade menu with ATV and other items such as swing terrace etc. and only at the bottom there is the "ATV only" option. Finally it is very unlikely you spend what you think because you're pushed to buy more expensive packages. (Also the swing is not just swing: you're lead to a shop to buy creams and other local products, looked like a tourist trap). THE INCLUDED INDONESIAN LUNCH WAS RIDICULOUS: the portion was not even enough for a cat and the only included beverage was water, we had to pay for cokes and after we had to go to a restaurant because we were starving. The ATV ride was fun, but it was very expensive and ruined by all the rest.

Overall, this was a great experience! The course was exciting if you know how to operate the quad bikes. The guides were very attentive and took the time in the beginning to ensure riders knew how to operate and maneuver the bikes. Beautiful riding course!

Way Overpriced experience

The tour is way Overpriced and I thought they will do something special but it wasn’t the case The place doesn’t match the listed meeting point its 2 hours from kuta ! The experience itself was okay but doesn’t worth overpaying the launch was joke they give you one of three choice with only water and they make you wait 45 minutes for your food to make sure you pay for other things

We LOVED this trip. Our driver, Pong, was absolutely brilliant. He was so friendly and communication was great. He picked us up to take us to the quad biking which is set in a beautiful location. The quad biking was so fun (wellies were included). Although initially I was terrified, We felt safe and looked after by our guide. Once back, we were able to get a shower. Lunch was also brilliant, I’m vegan and they were able to cater for me. We then went to the monkey forest with Pong. He was very knowledgable and able to tell us all about it which was interesting. We then went to a waterfall which was really beautiful I would definitely recommend this tour, 100%

Heavy traffic in Bali drags the day out. A lot of waiting around. When you reach the destination wait an hour again
