Maria A. was an excellent hostess and teacher. She graciously invited us into her home, which is not far outside the city wall, to cook in her kitchen. She imparted helpful hints, so even if you are familiar with Italian cooking, you will benefit. My friend and I had an enjoyable 4 hours and came away sated, with good memories and recipes.
