Day trip to Kazbegi / Rooms

Vaska did a great job as our guide. We enjoyed the magnificent scenery and lunch. You can see the Gergeti church from Rooms hotel, however there was a storm while we were at the hotel so we did not make it to the church itself. Vaska drove us very proficiently there and back to our hotel.

Disengaged guide / dangerous driver but amazing scenery

Although the itinerary was great and the sites are truly amazing, we were unable to enjoy this trip because of our guide. 1) He was slightly late, which he apologized for, but 2) his driving was dangerous and we ended up in a car crash on the Georgian Highway because he kept tailgating and had to slam on the brakes suddenly. We narrowly missed hitting the truck in front, but were rear-ended and had a mild whiplash. Even after the accident, he continued to drive in the same dangerous manner. 3) In addition, he skipped one of the stops (The Georgian-Russian Friendship Monument). He said we would see it on the way back, but he chose not to stop because he was fixated on the traffic (although we were well ahead of schedule, returning to Tbilisi by 6:00 pm). 4) He asked us if we could stop by his apartment so he could return the company vehicle, after which he drove us back to the hotel in his own car. Again, not a deal-breaker, but weird to ask us to do that after all the other things that happened.

Regarding the Friendship monument we were told that you refused to stop upon your will, it made me confused. Regarding the Motorcycle that crashed from behind, We believe its truly very unpleasant moment, but according to traffic laws hitting from behind is the fault of one who is behind, not taking a safety distance! later we analyzed the case and there is no fault of the driver. Nevertheless we will consider your review as a warning to make sure this never happens again! We wish you a good luck

Maria was our driver and she was phenomenal. She got us back in Tbilisi all safe and sound. She was also our guide and provided some insights into Georgian life and cultural aspects of the places we visited. The lunch at the Hotel Rooms was really good, as well.

Our guide Miriami was wonderful we had forgotten memory card for camera she took us to a store for that. Explained all about the region the culture history and other interesting facts. A careful and thoughtful driver. The views were spectacular It was cloudy at the top but the views from Rooms was great. Food was superb one of the best khachapuri we had. It is a must do tour for anyone coming to Georgia

日帰りでロシアとの国境付近まで行くので移動時間は長いですが、景色がきれいで気になりませんでした。そして目的地でのランチが美味しい！8月のトリビシは暑いのですがランチをとるKazbegiは20度前後でとても気持ちよく癒されます。山脈を眺めるだけでも素敵ですが、その奥にある5000Mを超える山が時折雲の合間から顔を出しそれがまた癒しを誘います。Mr.Baskarという若いお兄ちゃんが担当してくれましたがとにかく安全運転で子供がいたのですがいろいろ気遣ってくれて助かりました。集合時間の15分前には来ており日本人好みのタイプでした。ジョージアにまた行きたいと思わせるようなツアーでした。 Mr.Baskar who was assigned to our guide & driver was very kindness for my baby and has safety driving Technic. Location of lunch was too beautiful for works and Georgian food tasted GOOD !! If possible, I would like to have stayed the hotel where we ate the lunch.

Wow, what a fantastic tour. Yes, the destination - Kazbegi - makes it easy to enjoy but the highlight of the tour was the great and personalized service provided by Vaska, our tour guide. Simply fantastic, we got to become friend. Very intelligent, great conversation and willing to teach us so many nice things about the country. The lunch at rooms hotel cannot be missed. Vaska ordered a delicious assortment of Georgian dishes, including oyster mushrooms with tarragon, a Georgian tomato salad with Walnut dressing, a special type of Katchapuri, and many other delicious things. Vaska, thank you for your great and genuine service. This is the best tour we have ever taken!

The best tour I have ever booked in my life. Kazbegi - we love you! Everything was very very well organized! Comfortable car with a very good music on. We had an amazing lunch at the Rooms Hotel, the road seemed us very short and pleasant! We went to Jhinvali Dam, Ananuri Castle, the place where two rivers join each other lavash we also stopped at the friendship monument and we did Paragliding also, was the best experience to fly over Caucasus!

This is an amazing tour. My tour guide Misho arrived on time and took me to all the important places in Georgia, including: Mtskheta, Ananuri, Jinvali, Gudauri and Kazbegi. The lunch at Rooms hotel was excellent. I highly recommend taking this tour and thumbs up to Misho and Into the Caucasus tour company for organizing such a tour
