I really enjoyed this tour of some of the most important sites in Georgia. We all definitely learned a lot. However, the best part of the tour is the personable tour guide who went above and beyond in making sure that we were comfortable and having a good time.

Lika turned out to be an excellent guide. She took the time to translate and speak in Spanish all the explanations she gave us, and she was very discreet, never asking where we were from or what we were doing in our country, etc., unlike most guides who want to know how long we've been there and try to sell us other tours. Her explanations were concise and sufficient. She delivered on everything she promised. She was also an excellent driver; she deserves a ten out of ten.

Tamara was a great driver and guide! She brought me to all the necessary places and was able to adjust the tour for me to go to the Stalin Museum in Gori. She also brought me to the best food - Gori beef cutlet which was delicious. Thanks!

We had a great day with our guide Tamara, exploring the area around Tbilisi. She was friendly and knowledgeable, teaching us a lot about Georgian culture and history. Tamara also showed us a few local delicacies at lunch in Gori - we had an excellent time and highly recommend!

Ditto was a fabulous guide! Extremely knowledgeable about everything—culture, history, food, wine. Excellent communication. Very accommodating as to what we wanted to spend more time on, and organizing the day so that the weather changes would be less impactful. Very comfortable vehicle. We booked the Mtskheta – Jvari – Uplistsikhe – Chronicle of Georgia PRIVATE tour with Tamara as our guide, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Georgia.
From the first minute, everything felt easy and well organized. She arrived exactly on time, the car was clean and comfortable, and the whole day flowed naturally without ever feeling rushed or overly scripted.
What made the experience special was not just the places themselves, but the way Tamara brought them to life. At Jvari Monastery, overlooking the rivers and mountains, she explained the history and religious significance in a way that was actually interesting and easy to follow. In Mtskheta, walking through the ancient streets and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral felt much more meaningful because of the context and stories she shared.
Uplistsikhe was incredible. Seeing an ancient rock-cut city carved into the cliffs already feels surreal, but having someone knowledgeable explain how people actually lived there completely changed the experience.
The Chronicle of Georgia was the perfect ending to the day. The monument itself is massive and impressive, but Tamara made sure we understood the symbolism, the history behind it, and gave us enough time to simply enjoy the atmosphere and views over Tbilisi.
What stood out most was her personality. Warm, intelligent, patient, and genuinely passionate about Georgia. She never rushed us, answered every question, helped with photos, recommended local food, and somehow managed to make the entire day feel more like traveling with a knowledgeable friend than being on a tour.
You can tell she truly cares that people leave Georgia understanding and appreciating the country, not just taking pictures of it.
If you are visiting Tbilisi and want a private tour that combines history, culture, scenery, and real human warmth, I would absolutely recommend Tamara without hesitation.

Great way to see parts of Georgia outside of Tbilisi. Jvari monastery was wonderful to see overlooking Mtskheta, and the Uplistsike caves were really interesting. Highlight was finishing with the chronicles of Georgia - such a great experience and the sky cleared perfectly on our arrival for great photographs! Definitely a tour worth booking - we had a great guide called Ako who gave great insights and history of each landmark.

We had a private driver, Beriska, and he made everything to make us feel great. The car was super comfortable and the visits really worth, the Chronicles are a must and the Uplistsike archeological site just a total incredible experience. If you have an extra day in Tiblisi you just can't miss. Beriska our guide was just great!

Group of 3. We booked the Mtskheta-Jvari-Uplistsike-Chronicle of Georgia, PRIVATE Trip. Our guide was 'GEORGE ENAOGH'. He was incredibly helpful, flexible, informative and made our trip simply spectacular. Our trip was booked less than 24 hours in advance, which was not a problem at all. George drove us around in a clean, modern, spacious van.
I would absolutely recommend George as a tour guide to anyone who wants an unforgettable trip.

Great tour of historic monasteries, churches, the Chronicles of Georgia, and the piece de resistance, Uplistsikhe. The ancient ruins of an important city on the Silk Road was amazing to see. I recommend getting the walking tour or a guide to explain the different archaeological finds.

Our driver and guide, Nika, was excellent. This is a great way to see the sites nearby Tbilisi and learn more about the country. Having a private tour allowed us to go at our own pace. We really enjoyed the caves but everything on this itinerary is interesting.

We had a wonderful experience with Karlo.
He arrived to pick us up exactly on time in a clean and comfortable car. We had a great tour of Mtskheta, Jvari, Uplistsike and Chronicle of Georgia.
Karlo was kind enough to take our pictures (great photos ) and recommended good spot to take photos.
He had a lot of history knowledge and was pleasant to talk to. Would very much recommend this private tour.

We booked a private trip and were lucky to have Karlo as our guide. My son had sustained a knee injury from football just prior to our Georgia trip. Karlo took this into account making sure he had a more spacious car and he didn’t have to walk or climb too much; at the same time making sure the rest of us still had plenty of activities. We were picked up at our hotel, and visited the Chronicles of Georgia, Jvari Monastery and the confluence of the two rivers (Kura and Aragvi), Uplistsike caves & (optional) wine tasting, (optional) Stalin’s house in Gori and museum, Svetiskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta (old capital) & marketplace. We have gained a lot of information about Georgian history as well. Thank you Karlo for considering all of our needs and giving us a memorable day (for all the right reasons) and good memories to look back on with all the lovely photos and videos.
