They were so patient with us, taught us about the Costa Rican culture. Along with the adventures of cliff jumping, white water tubing, and a nice hike to LaLeona waterfall.

Paul Gomez was our tour guide, and let me tell you how amazing this guy was! Yes the scenery and experience was incredible, but the way Paul was excited to be our guide made our tour the absolute best experience of our lives. From explaining the significance and folklore of Costa Rican culture to taking every chance to video/photograph our trip, Paul gave 1000% of his attention and care to give us a tour we will remember forever. The waterfall La Leona is an absolute must see treasure, the trail is beautifully designed for a medium amount of difficulty with ease of access after the descent into the canyon, there are ropes and ladders to help climb in some areas, and the help from
staff also cannot be expressed enough as they were all so awesome. Overall, it was just myself and my husband so we weren’t sure what to expect being the only ones on the tour! Paul gave us the absolute best time of our lives and we hope to catch more tours with him during our stay in Costa Rica!!! Thank you Paul!!

This is quite an adventure. Sebastian met us at our hotel and drove us to the sights. He was very knowledgeable, spoke English very well and keeps things fun. We were too chicken to do the cliff jumping but the waterfall was gorgeous and tubing was a thrill. Bring good shoes you can get dirty and be prepared for a workout. A hard days work ends with Casado and a beer.

What an amazing once in a lifetime experience ! It was the perfect blend of activities! It was a private experience with Sebastian and Juan Carlos who are hands down the best guides in Costa Rica! The cliff jumping in a secret spot started the day with a mix of 25-45 ft cliffs into crisp water what an adrenaline rush!! No other tours offer this activity and it was so worth it!! Tubing down the rapids in the Colorado river also didn’t disappoint! So much fun!! Final stop was the La Leona waterfall! WOW! Great hike through the rainforest, ladders, ropes, swimming through caves in turquoise waters to get to the waterfall was the highlight of this day. Sebastian and Juan Carlos were so much fun! We highly recommend swwwt Costa Rica tours and request these two guides! This is a high adrenaline tour different experience than all the others, private and personal and everything we weee looking for and more! Book it now!!!! Don’t waste your time on other tour companies this is the one! Thanks Sebastian and Juan Carlos!!! We will be back!

Best birthday excursion ever! Alberto was an excellent guide. He was very genuine, friendly and helpful throughout the journey. We started with cliff jumping which was scarier than it looked but he encouraged us through the process (and we survived lol). Don’t jump if you can’t swim because the water is deep and had a current (no life jackets). The rain forest hike was fun and adventurous. Its not like a nice paved trail so be prepared to walk on rocks, swim (with a life jacket) and enjoy the scenery. Water tubing was also fun but beware that you can fall out the tube and there are rocks in the river. I didn’t fall out but my husband did but he was fine. During lunch Alberto and crew surprised me with a birthday cake and song! Made me feel really special and the cake was delicious. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would do it again only with Alberto because he was kind, taught us about the history of the area, and was so helpful. Highly recommend this private tour. Oh, he took a lot of great photos and videos which were helpful because I damaged my phone the next day. Thanks to Alberto, I still have great memories to show my family and friends.

Do this tour!
The cliff diving was amazing. Do yourself a favor and do not look down. Just step up and jump. It takes a second to hit the cool water and it is exhilarating. I felt safe the entire time.
The hike is more than an easy walk. Be prepared to climb, jump over waterfalls, pull yourself through the river and swim. Waterfall at the end is worth the hike.
Rafting is the final leg of the journey and the probably the easiest. Just hold onto the straps and do let go!
Paul was our driver and did a fabulous job. Pictures and video that are part of package were perfect memories to take home.

Everybody that was involved with our day was wonderful. All 3 of our guides and our driver made our day the best experience we had on our trip to Costa Rica! I would definitely recommend this tour and them to anybody looking for a full day of exploring and enjoyment!!

Adventures and sights were amazing! This experience is definitely for the most adventurous and fit. could not help but notice in our travels that other tours had life jackets, medical kits and other safety nets. This experience did not feature a ton of information, expectation setting or attention to needs of tour members.

Everything about this tour was epic. It really was private, just my partner and me with the guides, and it was an adventure from the start. The cliff jumping was such a great way to start things off. The tubing was exciting—rapids most of the way, so you definitely don’t get bored! Fabrizio was such a good tubing guide; he helped us navigate the rapids safely and expertly. Then the hike was unlike anything I’ve ever done before (and I hike waterfalls often). Using the ropes to get into the canyon was so fun, and Sebastian helped us feel safe the whole time. Sebastian was also able to change up the order of the itinerary so we could avoid the crowds, which made the experience much more enjoyable. I would do this tour every day if I could; it was amazing. One disclaimer: you need to be fairly athletic to pull off the hike (at least the way we went—apparently there’s an easier route, but it takes much longer). It’s physically demanding, but in the best way if you’re into that kind of thing. The hike is more of a scramble than a traditional hike. Water shoes were sufficient to hike in. We just wore our bathing suits and river shoes and it was great.

This was an absolutely amazing tour and a great company to use. After booking the company reached out via WhatsApp so we had a way of contacting them to ask questions in advance. The jump off the cliff was really fun! I never thought my wife or 17 year old would do it, but they did! Then the experience at La Leona waterfall was so amazing. We saw two different waterfalls and they were beautiful. We had about 30 minutes to hike to the waterfall and over rocks and limbs, but it was very easy but Definately don’t wear flip flops or loose fitting shoes. We had a quick lunch and then did the tubing. My 17 and 13 year old liked this one part the best. You go over a lot of rapids and it’s alot of fun. Our guides were so much fun! Our Driver Paul and tour guide Ericka were amazing start to finish! They made the day so much better! Highly recommend this day trip!

Our transportation host was Paul who was absolutely amazing! He was knowledgeable of the terrain and the history of the land, he was very accommodating with any requests, and he had a very good attitude and personality!
