Tomas was prompt, clear, engaging, knowledgeable, and an excellent English speaker. A 4th-gen Stockholm-native he did a fantastic tour, filled with great details (full Swedish flag flying over Palace when King is in the office, vs pennant) and fascinating things to see (subway art on all blue route stops!). Tomas led an engaging tour experience, not just informative but interactive - bringing stories and context supporting many of the facts and places of Stockholm. I would highly recommend a tour with Tomas for newcomers and returnees to this beautiful city of islands.

Tomas was prompt, clear, engaging, knowledgeable, and an excellent English speaker. A 4th-gen Stockholm-native he did a fantastic tour, filled with great details (full Swedish flag flying over Palace when King is in the office, vs pennant) and fascinating things to see (subway art on all blue route stops!). It is very easy to navigate around Stockholm.
We met Thomas near the Opera House. We were given a unique walking tour full of interesting information about Stockholm. Thomas was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, he had some great insights into Stockholm culture and places of interest. We ventured across the city using the metro and covered a great deal in this time.

Thomas is very friendly and a great guide, you can tell that he loves Stockholm. We really enjoyed our tour and the fact that Thomas took us to different areas of Stockholm, out of the standard tourist places.

The guide was a no show. Viator was unable to reach the guide nor could I. There were 5 people at the meeting spot- stranded with no tour. They are also refusing to issue a refund.

Hi Marleen, I am sorry but your statements are unfortunately incorrect. I and other guests waited for late visitors for over 10 minutes at the meeting point. In addition to this, I searched the area around the meeting place in case anyone did not know where we were supposed to meet. After that we had to start the tour. An hour into the tour, I was contacted by Viator on the phone. Where I informed Viator of the above disclosure.

Amazing walking tour with Tomas. Saw so much more than if I had taken a regular tour. I really felt I got a real sense of the culture in Stockholm with its various communities. I HIGHLY recommend this tour. I will be coming back to Stockholm in the next couple of years and will definitely redo the tour with him.

Very interesting tour of Stockholm. I really enjoyed seeing the art in the blue line of the metro, visiting the different sections of the city, and hearing how the people of Stockholm drew a line to advocate to the government on places important to them such as the Kings Garden when change was being considered. The tour had so much more than expected by sharing stories that expressed some of the heart and culture of the people. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Tomas is the best tour guide I've ever had.
I've done Viator in several countries and taken about a dozen tours and Tomas has been the best.

I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to see a side of Stockholm that as a tourist you wouldn’t usually see. Tomas takes you to really cool sights and is very informative and friendly. I happened to be the only one on my tour, and when I mentioned I really wanted to visit a bookstore in Stockholm, he took me to one during my tour which was awesome.

Thomas was a friendly and interesting person.
The sites, except for the underground station art, were quite banal.
And since I paid quite a bit for the tour, it irked me that I had to pay for a train ticket to get inside the underground to see the art. Really, Thomas, you should have paid the few krone for the train ticket, especially since we didn't GO anywhere. Rather cheap of you

The tour gave us an insider's view of Stockholm which one cannot get in ordinary tours. We felt our guide Tomas' passion and love for his native land and he made us understand and appreciate it.
