A great tour to start a Stockholm visit. Philip gives a great overview of the cities must-see and must-do areas in a relaxed, easy going style. Also, you learn the ropes on how to safely cycle in the busy city. And, Philip has the uncanny ability to get you into the cafe for a quick fika just before it starts raining.

Stockholm is designed to be experienced by bike! We were able to see many of the neighborhoods and islands that make up the various parts of the city at an easy pace, with numerous stops along the way to learn about the sights, history, and culture. Philip added his own personal touch to the tour. (We hope to try out a couple of his recommendations for restaurants - maybe he should do a food tour as well!) Despite cool, overcast weather, he managed to make this a memorable and well-worthwhile experience.

We really enjoyed the trip around Stockholm. Phillip shared a lot of great information. It was great to have time for Fika as well. Our only complaint was that he often rode far ahead of us and we had to race to catch up with him.

Philip did a great job taking us through the history and highlights of Stockholm. We went to all of the major tourist spots, and participating in this ride helped give us a sense of what we would want to dive into further versus not. Philip was a great personality and it was nice to get his point of view of Sweden. I would definitely recommend this for any first-time travelers to the city.

The cycling part was fine and as it was the national day for Sweden we did see the procession through the city ( quite accidentally though I might add) but we could have hired bikes and used a map to get around very easily and for a lot less money.
We booked a guided tour so that we could in addition to orientating ourselves , learn some interesting facts about the city and get recommendations for sights, restaurants and cafes from a local.
We have done many bike tours in different cities and normally find good information like where locals go for coffee , evening meal for great quality and value etc away from tourist hotspots.
Unfortunately we didn’t get much in the way of recommendations or local knowledge or history so we were a bit disappointed and felt the 3 hours was very expensive at approx £65 each.
We enjoyed the bike ride nevertheless as the weather was good and the guide friendly.
We used Trip Advisor afterwards to find attractions and eateries and also took pot luck wandering into restaurants and cafes with mixed results. One restaurant that was highly rated on Trip Advisor was awful! Hence we will not be put off guided tours in future as local knowledge and recommendations are always important to us.

Thank you for your feed back. I'm sorry you felt the day didn't live up to your expectations especially as it was just the two of you and you had my undivided attention. Less expensive and shorter tours with 15 or more people are available for around £45 and perhaps would have been more appropriate, though few run on weekends or national holidays. As we did cover major points of interest, historical and cultural contexts, and explored much of the city on a wonderul festive day it saddens me that your experience was less than thrilling. It seems even local restaurants didn't meet your standards as well. I hope the rest of your trip went well!

Philip was a wonderful bike guide throughout the city. He was ready when the rains came with poncho’s while being able to continue the tour. His knowledge of Stockholm was amazing and we were able to get a preview of much of the City. We definitely did not have enough time in this wonderful place.

We traveled for the first time to Stockholm from the US as a couple. We found this bike tour and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. What a wonderful morning we had with Philip. He is a very well educated, travelled and interesting man and my wife and I enjoyed his company a lot. We saw all that was needed and Philip didn’t over do the dialogue but at the same time what he had to say was interesting and informative. Overall I can recommend Philip and his Stockholm cycling experience as one of the best things you will do while in the city. Just do it, you wont regret it
