Wonderful small group hike and lunch. Learned alot from our guide. The NP wasn't crowded and made for a lovely day.

A great experience to walk off-track through untouched Primeval Forest

We booked this mini-adventure as a family group and were joined by one other lady and our guides, Ben and Nathan. At the outset we had a hiccup in that the instructions we received as to how to travel to our meeting point were out of date but Ben came to pick us up and all was sorted. Just to be clear, the meeting point (as at June 2019) is Café String. A forty minute mini-bus ride took us out to the Tyresta National Park where we were offered all the promised equipment including good quality binoculars. Walking off-track in a Primeval Forest is a wonderful experience and we felt the magical atmosphere of the isolation from human influence. Our guides were highly personable and Ben in particular had a wealth of knowledge to impart on all that lay before us. We were blessed with lovely weather and had a relaxing lakeside lunch with great sandwiches provided followed by a dip in the lake to cool off and relax. We had a wonderful day. Of course, we wanted to see a Moose but it was not to be!
