This hike is absolutely beautiful. Our guide, Yasmine, knows the area very well and was able to answer all of my questions about the nature reserve and about Sweden in general. The views are stunning. We are active people and the hike was not difficult for us. The fika and campfire lunch were tasty. We saw lots of pretty plants and lots of signs of various animals. We even saw a deer who seemed to not be scared at all.

Our guide (Sofia) was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and helped us have a wonderful experience. She was very personable and made everyone feel comfortable. The hike was beautiful and it’s an experience I’ll never forget.

Walked about 10miles but you can go at your own pace. Few ups and downs along the way, great view points of the lakes and forest. Veggie balls for lunch, great when lakes are frozen as you can see ice fishing, ice skaters and walk on the ice yourself

My fiancé and I had an amazing experience. Jacob, our tour guide from the UK, was nothing short of spectacular. He was informative, knowledgeable, and charismatic. As a fellow PhD candidate myself, I was intrigued in his studies where he shared in great detail his experiences and endeavors. We were also hoping to spot some Swedish wildlife but all we saw was a black bird so if wildlife is what you’re hoping to see, let me be the first to tell you that it isn’t going to happen. Yet, you will encounter some strikingly beautiful vistas with great photo opportunities. Book the excursion; you won’t be disappointed.

Despite the rainy weather, Francisco made the whole experience seamless. It’s a beautiful place, the company was good, and the technical assistance capable and friendly. We had food, shelter when necessary, and no doubt as to the outcome - tired but happy, just the way it’s supposed to be.

The tour was great, we had so much fun with Jakob, the lunch was perfect and we really enjoyed everything very much! Highly recommended, I think we walked around 8.5KM and it was easy to medium.

I was a little nervous to be a solo female traveler going on this trip, but Leo was totally awesome and made me (and the other solo female traveler who joined us) feel completely comfortable. One of my favorite parts of the hike was visiting a flowing spring to fill up our water bottles with delicious fresh water and hearing Leo's explanations about Sweden's geology/nature. If you're going in the summer time, bring bug spray!

Leo and Francisco were excellent hike leaders. Attentive, knowledgeable and fun. The hike was just a short bus ride away from Stockholm, which was a nice and easy way to see some of Sweden's nature while staying in the capital. Tasty frika and lunch of Swedish meatballs made on a fire out in the nature. All in all, great experience. Thanks guys!

It was a rainy cool day when we do the activity but it was worth it. We are in a small group of 5 including the tour guide named Bobby, who was a great story teller and had been to 6 continents. I hope that Bobby will conquer Antartica soon.

I Enjoyed spending time in nature and would recommend if it’s what you want. It would be better if the guide had a clear itinerary for the hike. Lunch is also light so better have a good breakfast.

The tour is all about being outdoors in nature. Therefore, we have to adjust our itinerary based on the group constellation and fitness level of each participant. In that way, we can ensure that everyone has a great experience at the end of the day.
At the moment we have a general fire ban in Stockholm because of exceptionally dry weather (no open fires allowed). Therefore, we had to adjust the food option accordingly. Usually, there is plenty of food available and we get great reviews for it. I will double-check with the guide if something has been missing.

The walk was nice and in fine nature, but not a walk you could not plan yourself. It was a very expensive trip according to the output.

We always aim to offer more than just a simple walk by combining local knowledge, guiding, and an outdoor meal experience cooked over the campfire. Therefore, I’m a bit unsure what your expectations were, as the tour matches exactly what’s described on the Viator product page, and most other guests have rated their experience with us 5 out of 5 stars.
Regarding the price, this was actually a private tour for just the two of you. Considering the guide’s five hours of work, Viator’s commission, taxes, transportation tickets, and the food, the tour was far from overpriced. In fact, we ran it at a loss but were happy to do so, as we want guests to be assured that their trip goes ahead once the minimum of two participants is reached.
Regardless, I’m happy to hear you found the guide friendly and enjoyed the nature itself.
