The tour was very informative and well worth doing.
Diana was extremely knowledgable and brought many places to life and way better than just walking past them.
However she was often drowned out by traffic noise and really bothered by a local man who sometimes interferes with her preventions. By moving way from traffic junctions this would have been easily overcome.
Diana was a fun historian whom we were glad was our guide. Stirling is a chilly (this time of the year) town but worth the visit. It is charming and the history is interesting.
Craig was very knowledgeable and very interesting, the tour was not too difficult to walk and shared the most important historical aspects of Stirling. Very good value for money and would highly recommend.

As I got off the train in Stirling, I was informed that my tour would begin a half hour late, which conflicted with other plans. I understand that things happened, but I wasn't pleased at sick late notice.
The tour was great. The tour leader was very knowledgeable and provided lots of interesting information. I would highly recommend this tour. Note that there is a fair amount of walking, mostly uphill, but that is to be expected in Old Stirling. The tour ends at the parking area for the Castle, so plan your Castle tour to begin a couple of hours after the Old Town tour begins.
One of the best tours we had during our 2-week visit in Scotland & Ireland. Would highly recommend, great combination of history, context & humor! We tried to tip for the great tour and Craig wouldn't accept it, says he does it because he loves it!
Very informative tour, which visits all of the old town major sites. Our guide, Diane was fantastic, with excellent Scottish history knowledge and a very friendly nature.

Very friendly and well informed guide. Craig was an excellent guide. You should know the tour takes place in the highest area of Stirling. You will be walking up and down some streets.
