Jermaine absolutely made this trip unforgettable! From the moment we met him, his personality stood out—funny, engaging, and just an all-around great person to spend the day with.
His vehicle was excellent—clean, comfortable, and perfect for exploring the island. His driving was smooth and professional, so we felt completely at ease the entire time.
What really set Jermaine apart, though, was how thoughtful and personable he was. He made the experience feel less like a tour and more like spending the day with a friend who knows all the best spots. We saw so much of St. Thomas and learned a lot along the way, all while having a great time.
I truly couldn’t recommend him more—if you have the chance to book with Jermaine, do it!

Highly recommend! The personalized trip allowed us to see everything! Our tour guide, Jermaine, was absolutely amazing!!! Suggest doing this early in your trip to see what the island has.

Jermaine was our tour guide & he was awesome!!! Took us to a great local breakfast spot to start our day. Then brought us around the historical district and provided interesting history of the area. We had great conversations! He was very accommodating to a couple of the places we really wanted to stop at. Ended our trip with a little beach time at a fantastic beach-Secret Harbor. He set us up with chairs, beach mat , snorkeling gear and some waters. I highly recommend this tour & well worth the money! Never felt rushed at any of the places we went to. Thanks for a great 1st day on the island, Jermaine!!

The pre-excursion instructions and information were very detailed & easy to follow. Jermaine was on time to pick us up. We quickly discussed what we were looking to do during the private tour, since we are not beach or snorkel people. We decided to spend the day looking at the historical sites and just seeing the city. Jermaine also had Tito’s, which is our drink of choice so that was a nice plus.

This was one of the best days of our trip. Jermaine was amazing, super knowledgeable about the history of St. Thomas and really went above and beyond to make our day great! He was attentive to our needs and wants while on our tour. We really enjoyed spending the day with him! 10/10!

Mike was very hospitable to me and my family and he completed the hard tasks of my big itinerary completely. Very satisfied without him we could not see the most on our ship's stop at St Thomas. Truly incredible time with very knowledgeable Mike!

Let's start off by saying we loved the experience! Our guide was the best: she was thorough, accommodating, informative and was able to pivot to our desires. The jeep was comfortable.
Once we were all on the same page, things went swimmingly!
We were to be in St. Thomas just for the day, and wanted to hit a couple of uncrowded beaches and have lunch. Communicated all that with the office, but apparently, they failed to inform our guide.
We were also a little put off by the "gratuity" the office practically demanded in communications before the experience.
This was to be a cashless transaction; that's the reason we love Viator: make the reservation and one does not have to worry about billing. It has worked for us several times in several countries. Was very perturbing to get a communication (after the fact) that the full fee would not be charged to our credit card, and we were to bring the balance in cash. We DO NOT carry large sums of cash in other countries! Luckily, we noticed this before the date and the office was able to fix the problem.
We met our guide at the appointed spot, and she proceeded to give us a grand tour as we went toward the first beach. She had drinks, beach chairs, etc. as advertised. We had our own snorkelling gear, and looked forward to visiting the beaches we had outlined. We did not notice we were being taken to the western part of the island until we were getting out of the jeep. That's when we realized our guide was not informed of our plans by the office, as the beaches we wanted were more in the easterly direction.
Not a big problem, as we had all day, but it did take extra travel time to the beaches we wanted.
In conclusion, we loved the experience, but would probably use another company next time.

Fantastic adventure with Jermaine. He was born and raised here and knew the island like the back of his hand. He took us to a number of historic sites and fantastic beaches. We snorkeled with sea turtles and a variety of colorful tropical fish. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting St Thomas. Jermaine was very knowledgeable but most important he was very personable and friendly. It was a perfect day and will be remembered for a long time. Mark, Mary, Kim and Dennis.

We spent the day with Eduardo and he was absolutely spectacular! We don’t normally do “tours” as we love going to the beach but this was probably our favorite thing we did of all of our excursions at 6 islands during our cruise! He took us to places we would have never seen on our own, including beautiful private beaches, resort style areas, so we were still able to enjoy fun places for good and drinks, up mountainsides in his new Bronco and down through jungle looking areas that didn’t even look like there was going to be a path! Then all the sudden, another beautiful private beach! We can’t say enough great things about our day!

Eduardo was amazing. We were able with sea turtles, took us to an amazing beach off the beaten path where we were the only people there! We also had the best banana daiquiri’s ever!!

We weren’t quite sure whether to book this tour at first because we had not seen a lot of reviews. But we took a chance - and boy, we had an amazing day! What made our day super memorable was that we had a fun tour guide named Jelani! He really listened to us and helped to craft a day that totally met our needs. He wasn’t a tour guide who dropped us off and walked away- he participated and engaged with my family. Most memorable of all was the snorkel tour he took me and my son on. I highly recommend this tour, and spending your day with Jelani! 😊

Excellent Communication prior to trip, and meeting at pier was super easy = 5 star Brand New Ford Bronco = 5 star
We had the goal of exploring St Thomas, so we would know exactly where to go the next time we visit. I will take some blame for poor review, because I was asked at the beginning, if we wanted to go to the busiest beaches? or more local and laid back? I did answer more laid back and local.
We met on time, and we were off.
5 of us in the Bronco, on curvy twisty roads, we held it together, but being from the flat Midwest, we were nearly sick by the time we got to our first stop.
Pretty much way too much driving to get to some pretty boring beaches. Up and around, and over, and down, the twisty roads we go. We seen the whole island, but I would rate what we saw = 1 star (sorry, maybe hindsight we should have gone where everybody else goes)
Our Guide was nice, very-VERY easy going island girl. She knew her way around very well. Did forget ice, but that's ok, it wasn't our goal of drinking all day.
The whole trip just needed a better plan/itinerary. We considered going back to ship, more to do, more to see
Ok, final stop was snorkeling. I would give it a 3 star. We did see several turtles and stingray. That was nice, and that was what this stop had to offer. The stop we were at had very-very little coral or fish. I was slightly concerned with the cleanliness of the equipment, I hope they sanitize in between customers, but when I seen them go back in the box, the same way we pulled them out, umm, it made me wonder. I'm betting and hoping they sanitize that stuff
Overall cost-value of the 6 hour trip = 2 star for me. $650-$750 to drive around and not see much, sorry, I will not do again
It did rain most of the morning also = nobody's fault there, and probably lowered the experience for the day also

We would like to thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry it was not a 5 star all the way around. We do try and change all of our tours to match what each guest may like the MOST. Our goal is always "Your day, Your way" as we have visitors that absolutely love the water and want to snorkel in several places and we also have visitors that only want to sight see and learn the culture and history of the Virgin Islands. All of our tour guides are either born and raised on St. Thomas or have lived here for 10+ years and know all the popular locations and also the secret hidden gems. We do our best to read our customers and determine what you will like the best. As the crowed beaches, especially on cruise ship days, they can be so busy you can not even find a spot for a towel. Also, the wild life in the ocean is not around, due to too many people. In the hidden gems, we get to see turtles and sing rays but you are definitely correct in the lack of fish and coral. Unfortunately, even we, do not get to see much of this these days on St. Thomas. As for the snorkel gear, yes we do take this very serious. We clean it every night and carry soap with us our tour, so you can clean it in between snorkels (if you do more than one). I wish I had control over the weather and we do our best to avoid rain but sometimes this is completely out of our control. Lastly, in regards to the roads, we do know the roads here are very mountainous and many people are not used to them, but to get to the breathtaking views and best beaches, we have to drive to the top and over the mountain. We have done our our best to provide state of the art 2022 Ford Bronco's to make the experience comfortable and safe for all of our guest. They have all 4x4 capabilities for all weather and conditions. We are glad you loved the Bronco's, your booking experience, your guide and saw turtles and stingrays. We are sorry the roads were rough and weather was not the best that day. We also could have done a better job ahead of time gathering information on what you might have wanted to see for the day and changed it up a bit to see those things. Eduardo was wonderful! He took us all over the island and was very willing to make stops along the way to anywhere we wanted to go. He tailor-made the tour just for us and even included a beautiful cozy beach off the main track for a snorkeling/swimming break. We visited a great local restaurant to savor some island specialties for lunch. It was a great day - just for us!

I love that we were able to customize our trip to fit our interests. That included breakfast and lunch at local spots Sib's Café and Brooks Bar. We also went to Mountain Top and had THE BEST banana daiquiri, Drake's Seat, and beautiful Magens Bay. I highly recommend this jeep tour with Island Life and if you're lucky, Chachi will be your guide. She was fun, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the island.

Our group of 4 adults had an amazing time! Kate pulled up in a brand new Bronco and from there on out we had the best time learning our way around the Island! She took us to vital areas of St. Thomas and really took her time with us. We had so many questions for her like what's the best restaurants, where's the best beaches, where can we snorkel and see sea turtles and more! She answered them all and had great suggestions. Since it was our 2nd day ever on the Island we let her control the experience and she did not disappoint. We truly made a friend and when we come back we will visit her again! Thanks Kate for taking care of us and we wish you nothing but the best for 2022!

This was our first trip to st thomas so we decided to do the jeep tour to get a feel for the island . This was the perfect way to begin our vacation. Kate our tour guide was amazing she was not only knowledgeable of the island and its history but you could tell she loves it. We went all over the island finding hidden gems and even the historical sites you wouldnt want to miss and even went snorkeling and swimming with the turtles. This was definitely a memorable tour and thanks so much to kate for making this tour amazing. When and if you book ask for kate!
