There are two cruise piers in St. Lucia, POINT SERAPHINE and LA PLACE CARENAGE (Port Castries). Point Seraphine Arrivals: Disembark the ship and look for the pier exit. After you exit the pier, you will arrive into a large room. Head for the exit on your right in that same room and walk all the way down past many shops. Its a straight pathway until you are just about to enter the Diamonds International Jewelry Store at the end of the path. Turn right just before the Jewelry Store and you will arrive at the Pink Papaya Restaurant (under 5 minutes walk). Upon your arrival, enter the restaurant and let the host/hostess know that you are there for a tour with LucianStyle. Your local representative will be waiting for you wearing a shirt with the logo "LucianStyle" and also will be holding a sign that reads "LucianStyle" Experiences". Port Castries (La Place Carenage) Arrivals: Disembark the ship and look for the pier exit. Walk through the doors into the main Duty-Free terminal, turn left (only way) and continue towards the exit of the Duty-Free terminal, before you arrive at the main exit (on your right) you will see an oval/round shaped tourist information desk. This is the desk where you will be met by your local representative. Your local representative will be waiting for you wearing a shirt with the logo "LucianStyle" and also will be holding a sign that reads "LucianStyle Experiences". If you have trouble locating your rep, please make yourself known to the agent at the desk and let them know you are waiting for your rep from LucianStyle. We ask that all guests please be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes prior to departure time.

Itinerary

After disembarking your cruise ship in Castries, travel by private vehicle to the Segway base, where your shore adventure begins.

Start with a safety briefing and orientation, then get comfortable on your Segway in a dedicated practice area. With protective gear provided and guides on hand, there's time to build confidence before setting out on the trail.

Follow your naturalist guide along a scenic route that climbs Mt. Pimard from the Rodney Bay area. As you ride, learn about St. Lucia’s plants, wildlife, and local history, while covering more ground than you could on foot.

Along the way, stop at World War II–era bunkers once used by the American military, pass a small pond where freshwater fish gather, and pause at viewpoints overlooking Rodney Bay Marina, Reduit Beach, and Pigeon Island. You also have the chance to stop at a local fruit shop (own expense) before continuing your ride.

At the end of the experience, return by private vehicle to the Castries cruise port.

Must do!

Dedicated, amazing staff! Jermaine and Shaq knew their stuff, and went out of their way to make our experience memorable!

Great fun! Saw lots of Rodney Bay and locality.

Bryan was excellent and very aware of our safety. He gave us opportunity for stops and photos as well.

Jacqueline_D, Jan 2025
I booked the Segway tour for 11am. Not quite an hour later Viator reached out stating that tour was sold out could we do the 9am tour. We said yes so they updated everything. We went to the meeting spot and were a few minutes early…the excursion company was not there. I did click on contact them to see where they were. They did show up but they did not have the logo on their shirt or a sign like stated in the booking. Once we got in the shuttle the excursion company asked about our tour and it was clear that it wasn’t set up for us. He then called his office and there was quite a discussion. Once we arrived they set us up and the tour ended up being just myself and husband. Our guide was clearly uncomfortable for the situation. Our guide didn’t have on the company logo shirt. There was no talking about stuff along the way,.,we did stop at some places and he gave us history. We paid for a 2 hour tour and actually only went for 1 hr 30 minutes max. We went around subdivisions a lot. We have done Segway tours before and they are awesome.,.this was not good. I paid $188 for 2 for a 2 hour tour to see tho ga. I thought we would see more than the marina, fishing boats and some other random houses. Also not sure why he thought going through grassy areas to “tool around” would be fun. The excursion company was Lucian Style Honestly it was a waste of money for what we received. I could go on but I’ll stop here.

Segway tour at St Lucia

R_T, Dec 2024
The Segway tour itself was amazing. Our guides Germain and Thomas were amazing. Very friendly and cheerful and kept all us laughing throughout the tour while sharing the local history. The pick up at the port was disappointing. We arrived 10 min before the pick up time and didn’t get picked up until 45 min later. During the wait, we got no information and were scrambling to try to reach the tour company. A local lady was so kind and offered to call them for us using her local mobile phone (roaming service was very poor) and finally got a hold of the tour company. They then informed us the driver was behind schedule. In any event, Germain and Thomas are amazing and definitely made up the disappointing pick up.

Excursion To Avoid!

RICHARD_G, Dec 2024
There were no memorable moments because the whole excursion was a disaster! We were supposed to meet the tour guide at 11 am and was instructed to wait at a location at 1030am to be picked up. Well it was 1040am no rep was there. So I connected with one of the other tour locals and inquired about Lucian Style company. They called the rep and the rep told them we were a no show. Then they finally came to us only to tell me my time had been moved to 900am due to over booking the 11am. I had this excursion booked months ago but it was only on the day of they figure out they were over booked. Then there was a couple with us that told me they were scheduled for 900am but was changed to 11am because the 900am was over booked. Do not go on this excursion and watch your booking in foreign countries especially St Lucia. A NIGHTMARE! I had to find a wifi area to call Viator to attempt to get my money back. I will check back later to express whether they did or not. As of right now I haven't seen anything.

Response from Host, Dec 2024

Hi Richard, Let me first apologize for you NOT being able to do our award winning excursion the Segway. We try reaching out to you to change your time to 9am and you never responded. Also your pick up was scheduled for La Place however we met you at Point Seraphine. My agent try our best to reschedule you to 2pm but you declined, there was another couple who did book for 11am and not 9am which we reschedule but they requested a refund instead. It is beyond our control if people book at the same time and cause and over booking, this is our reason to work with all clients to reschedule or provide a full refund if it is not possible. You rated a tour that you did not do a one star which am wondering is it fair to readers. I will authorize a full refund since you did not do the tour and also extend to you a free Segway Tour if you ever return to St Lucia. Merry Christmas to you and your family from the Management and Staff of Lucianstyle

BEST SEGWAY TOUR EVER!

Jeffrey_F, Dec 2022
Our tour guide Jeanaii was wonderful! Knowledgeable, patient, and a great educator. The trail Segway was different than regular Segway but easy to use. There was a little confusion with pick up time but the visitors desk in the terminal was very helpful. They called and had somebody arrange to pick us up. Somehow we wound up with a private tour. We went up the mountain stopped at a gazebo with gorgeous views and a pond that had Coy and Tilapia. Hubby was able to have his feet nibbled by the fish, as they eat dead skin. It was pretty cool to see these little fish attacking his feet. When our time was up we went to the bar next-door and waited for our return trip to the cruise ship. When the bus was running late they actually sent us back to the cruise ship with a private driver very nice of them. We had a great time it was a wonderful educated tour would do it again in a minute. Highly highly recommend it.

The actual Segway tour was really good, however the waiting time both before the tour - ie, being picked up from the cruise port, and then at the end, we had to wait nearly an hour in their office for someone to take us back. Not too happy about that.

Claude was a great guide. We quickly got the hang of it on the practice track and soon were able to go off the beginner mode so we could go faster. A word to the wise: don't speed down the hill! Claude easily corrected my goof and I didn't even have to step off the Segway. The trail is beautiful and mostly shaded. Very interesting to hear the history of the area. We had a great time!

A great tour that went just as advertised! We just returned from our cruise vacation and this was a great excursion! We booked directly through Viator and it was perfect. Taxi picked us up at the port, delivered us to the tour office and we were off! It turned out my wife and I were the only ones on this tour and we had previously ridden Segways, so we got reacquainted quickly. Wendell, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We rode well travelled trails and got to see some beautiful St. Lucia countryside, wildlife, beaches, and sampled some homemade rum punch. We enjoyed this tour very much and can recommend it without hesitation.

We went on our tour with Shangadanga, what a guy! The fruit stop was very unexpected but excellent and the views were great. The rum punch at the end in the bar was nice too. Watch out for mongooses too :-)

Our driver went to the wrong cruise port, but a quick call by the info desk staff got things settled. Great fn! Wish we had more time to explore on the segways! Edwin and Devin did a great job!

The segway tour was a lot of fun. We had outstanding guides and outstanding complimentary drivers both ways. I do want to say that your company really needs to communicate the pick up points better. There was never a communication as to exactly/precisely - where the driver was going to pick us up. The cabbies were extremely aggressive in St Lucua also. Only time on the criuse that I didn't feel my family was completely safe.

This excursion was by far our favorite and we went on five! We had 3 kids with us – 9, 11, and 14 and we all agreed this was our favorite! The staff was a hoot and very well informed about the area. They were very helpful and entertaining. The Segway’s were fairly easy to learn how to operate and the views were fantastic. I would highly recommend this excursion…. And this is coming from someone who’s sky dived, scuba dived, swam with dolphins/Sea lions/turtles and ziplined!

Eight of us, all over 50 years of age recenty did this tour. It was truly the highlight of our Carribean Cruise. Everyone at Lucian Style was so friendly and helpful. They made sure we were all comfortable on the segways before leaving on the trail tour. It was really pretty easy to learn and the sights were beautiful. They took pictures of us usng our own cameras and the fruit snacks were delicious and fresh. We also enjoyed the drinks at Miss Mary's shack although the drinks cost more than we planned (our fault....I guess we shud have asked). All the guys involved from Richard the manager to Shanga and the other two guides....this was a fun and memorable way to spend time in beautiful St. Lucia.

Loved this excursion and the staff! The only issue we had was with the time not being available and not being notified until a few days before we left and the number on the vouchers to contact St. Lucia Segway was incorrect.
