We are located in Beausejour, Gros Islet, in the North East. The road to our stables is located opposite the East Gate of the Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium. Look out for the sign "Beach Drive" on the corner. Once you are on Beach Drive take the first right and come straight up the short hill.

Northeast Atlantic side of the island offers the best views for horseback riding and we visited multiple beautiful coves. Apparently horses love swimming in the ocean as much as we do. Felt very safe with host and chaperone for entire ride.

We loved horse riding! Stefan and Desi we very personable and experienced guides. We appreciated the personalized experience. They took time to tell us about the island and the horses. Stefan had rescued a stray puppy Sara. She was a doll and we wanted to take her home. The horses were very well trained and well cared for. 10/10 recommended!

This was by far the best experience I had in St.Lucia. It’s family owed and the owner even picked us up from our resort and drove us to the excursion himself. He was amazing, and treats his horses like family!! The ride itself is incredible!! I will say you probably need to be pretty experienced for the upper level rides but if you can do it it’s well worth it!! If you don’t do anything else please do this ride and company!!!

The whole experience was absolutely amazing! The view was breathtaking, the Customer Service was awesome. I felt right at home and I’m so grateful I will definitely do it again. Not to mention it was my first time riding a force, and he was so welcoming and wanted to lead the way the whole time!

A different experience of St Lucia

This tour was on my 2nd visit to St. Lucia. Jordan was a great guide. Horse was fun and in great shape for the terrain. The scenic views of the Atlantic were awesome! The company is very organized and professional. They were located only 20 mins from the resorts in the Gros Islet area making travel to and from easy and straightforward. I highly recommend Josh (owner) and Sandy Hoofs. This is definitely a repeat excursion on my next visit to the Island.

Amazing experience, beautiful views of the water and mountains. This is a 3hrs ride and the guides does 2 stops to stretch the legs and drink water. The last stop they take you and the horse on the water. The horses are well taken care of and if you are an advance rider you should not have any problems riding and cantering on the beach. Would definitely recommend.

Malnourished neglected horses. Avoid.

My horse was not interested in taking anyone for a ride. He desperately needed immediate veterinary attention and proper feeding. It is inhumane and very dangerous for a person to ride a neglected horse no matter what skill level the rider, and terribly irresponsible that this business chooses to profit off of these animals (and tourists) despite their living condition. It is unfortunate that I had to experience what I did.

Hello Sasha Agarwal, We are surprised to receive your comments about our horses. They are not malnourished or neglected and thankfully many of our guests appreciate that we do take good care of our horses. Your posted pictures show only the horse's head, not the body to support your claim. The pictures do show that the rider is pulling back a lot on the reins and this riding style may have caused the horse to seem "not interested". We fully agree with your statement that it is inhumane to ride a neglected horse. As horse lovers ourselves, if we were to arrive at an establishment and be presented with a horse that was malnourished and desperately needed veterinary attention, we would not proceed to get on the horse's back and head off on a 3 hour tour. With regards to your statement that we choose to profit off of our animals and tourists: We would love to be able to offer our horseback riding experience cheaply or even freely and still keep our horses and staff happy, but we are still working on that business formula. As you were made aware, we did not receive payment for your private ride on August 11th so please do not feel taken advantage of. We wish you the best and hope that your next riding experience on the beach is everything you dreamed for and more.

Riding in Sea even if it was bot rough was great. Going to bar to stop rest horses and drink was great. Fun having happy dogs following and little colt foal. Horses kept well, good tack

This is for experienced...

This is for experienced riders! We met up with another private horseback tour and one of the two riders was not experienced enough to handle his horse, which caused the guide to have to walk the guys horse all the way back to the stable. This left the guides horse to walk back without a rider which almost caused the other rider to fall off of her horse. Don’t kid yourself, if you can’t ride pick a beginners tour.

If you are a TRUE HORSE PERSON this is the place to ride for sure!
