Javi was our tour guide and he was fantastic and very funny. My boyfriend and I had such an amazing time. He was knowledgeable about the Glacier and seemed excited to show us all the amazing sights. It was really enjoyable and we felt safe throughout. Probably our favourite part of our trip to Iceland. Really glad we booked this small group tour, it was excellent.

Our guide Javier was just amazing!!! He had so much knowledge and taught us a lot! This was the highlight of our trip and I am so excited that we had amazing weather too! It is definitely worth it to ride up close to the glacier instead of spending time hiking in. We were able to spend a lot of time actually on the glacier!

I chose this tour for maximum time on the ice, and it exceeded my expectations in every way! Our guide Javi provided facts, history, and humor the entire 4+ hrs we were together. This was my first glacier hike, and I was in awe the whole time. From strapping on the crampons, to rappelling off a crevasse, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

This tour was AMAZING -it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland! The glacier is an awe-inspiring place. Javi was our guide and he was fantastic. We had a much smaller group than anticipated, so he offered to let us try ice climbing and rappelling which was a nice surprise! Would highly recommend this tour!

The hike was an amazing once in a lifetime experience! I was very happy with our tour guide Zanet, who made sure we got as close as we could to the top while practicing safe hiking techniques. Zanet was very time-efficient while allowing us to take in as much of the glacier as we wanted to. Zanet took many pictures of us and took us to beautiful viewpoints.
The wait time, pickup, and instructional segment were all timely and efficient. I have no complaints!

My favourite day in iceland! This your was fantastic. Minimal travel time meant most of the tour was actually spent on the glacier and We lucked out and had the glacier all to ourselves. No other groups even came close to how high up we went. Knowledgeable and personable guide! We felt like a small group of friends out for the most amazing hike of your life!

This was the absolute BEST tour I’ve ever been on! We were able to ride up to the base of the glacier which gave us so much time to explore and climb higher than I thought we would! I would recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to have a life changing experience! Melrakki is a smaller company that operates on a smaller group experience and you definitely appreciate it!!!!

Die halbtägige Tour war einfach atemberaubend. Ich empfehle jedem der etwas Zeit hat sich diese Möglichkeit nicht entgehen zu lassen. Wir hatten unheimlich Glück mit dem Wetter. Franzi ist ein toller Guide und gibt unheimlich viele Informationen zum Gletscher (und auch darüber hinaus noch viele Reisetips für Island und kleine Funfacts zu Island). Man fühlt sich zu keiner Zeit unsicher oder in Gefahr. Der Veranstalter ist noch relativ neu, daher gerne unterstützen!
Man wird auch dank der Off-Road Fahrzeuge weiter ran gefahren als andere Gruppen, sodass man super viel Zeit am Gletscher hat!
