This seaplane ride in Sitka was hands-down one of the highlights of our Alaska trip! From the moment we took off from the water, the views were absolutely amazing. Snow-capped mountains, deep blue lakes, untouched wilderness, the scenery was truly stunning.
Our pilot, Jackson, was great. Friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe and relaxed the entire time. He pointed out some landmarks and wildlife along the way. He even took us out over the water to see a whale and her calf he spotted earlier that morning.
This was such a unique way to experience the raw beauty of Alaska. Awesome in every way. We wouldn't have missed it for anything!

It was breathtaking! A lifetime experience for sure! Being able to see glaciers and mountain lakes up close was amazing and we lucked out when flying out over the ocean we saw two massive grey whales - icing on the cake!

Absolutely spectacular experience — one of the best things we’ve done in Alaska. Our pilot, Jackson, was exceptional from start to finish: knowledgeable, personable, and clearly passionate about sharing Sitka’s beauty. We saw multiple humpback whales from the air, then landed right on the water for a close-up look at bears on the shoreline. The flight took us over breathtaking mountains, snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and stunningly clear water. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Well worth the money, and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting Sitka without hesitation.

I didn’t know what to expect, but this exceeded all I imagined. The perspective of the island from the air is amazing. Jackson was friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. All around a great adventure!

Jackson was a fantastic pilot!! We got to see incredible sights, including mountain goats and a gray whale! He was very informative about the local area, both about the natural landscape, animals, and glaciers, and also about what living in Sitka is like. I was amazed by how smooth the flight was too! I get nervous in small boats, but this plane felt so stable and easy. Even though it was raining, everything was great to see. I sincerely hope I get to experience something like this again someday - the pictures cannot capture how awe inspiring this was. 300/10, would recommend!!

Great trip, our pilot Jackson called 1/2 before our scheduled time to say he was ready any time we were. Although it was raining and the clouds were low, he managed to get us a view of some mountain goats and lots of beautiful scenery. Always wanted to fly a sea plane, beautiful experience!

Just Wow,
experiencing the Beauty of Alaska from the air is a memory you won’t forget. Jackson was a great pilot and tour guide. He puts safety and providing a wonderful Sitka experience first. A Sitka Native, he was a wealth of knowledge of Sitka history and culture. His Communication was excellent from booking and throughout the experience. He was able to get us in the air early and gave us a wonderful birdseye view of the snow covered mountains, glacier lakes, mountain goats, and even took us over the sound to view some Grey whales.
His Cessna Skywagon aircraft was in excellent condition and you can see he takes pride in the maintenance and presentation of his Aircraft. It only seats 3 passengers so larger groups will have to be split.
From takeoff to landing, this was by far the best thing we did during our cruise to Alaska.
Thank you Jackson McGraw for being such a great host and representing Sitka so well.

Plane is adjacent to the cruise terminal, very easy to get to the meeting point. Had a great flight seeing the volcano Mt Edgecomb up close, along with a second crater. Beautiful scenery all along the way, some waterfalls, great overview of the sound. Jackson gave us great information along the way, very smooth flight.

Absolutely amazing! This was our first excursion of of the boat and it made it difficult for any of the others to match up! Our pilot, Jackson rocked, pointed out many landmarks and even circled around a peak so we could see mountain goats that we had missed the first time. Highly recommended!

This personal sea plane tour is worth taking. We really enjoyed our tour with Jackson. We got to see whales and a brown bear along with showing us breathtaking Sitka view from the ski. Would highly recommend this tour.

This was by far the most amazing excursion Ive ever been on. Jackson was a great communicator and took us to see things that were indescribable. The flight was very smooth which i didnt expect. We saw whales, sheep and even a bear! The scenery was like nothing ive ever seen.

This was our favorite activity that we did in Sitka! Jackson was our pilot and made it really special for us as it was our first time flying in a float plane. The close views of the snow covered mountains, and the city below were breathtaking! Highly recommend!!
