    We enjoyed this excursion. The quad/ATV ride was fun and well organized chaos. The highlight was the camel ride. Recommend if you are looking for something fun that doesn't take the whole day. Please be prepared to tip people that help along the excursion, especially the young Boudiuns that lead the camels. No one hassled us for tips like some of the reviews said.

    Be prepared to buy a scarf and the additional park fees costs before you go on the quad bikes. Wear sunglasses. Take cash if you want to tip. Take sweets for the Bedouin children.

    Poor management

    The quad safari itself was fine and enjoyable enough. Although there was little instructions given for first time riders, this didn’t affect us as we’ve done quad biking before. However, the return and drop off were completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. The driver was constantly receiving phone calls with instructions to pick up more people, repeatedly stopping at multiple hotels and showing no regard whatsoever for dropping us back at our hotel. If you’re happy to stand around for an extra hour after the safari while others are being collected, then this may be fine for you. Otherwise, the drop off is badly organised, frustrating and handled with zero professionalism.

    The quad biking was good but the experience was a bit poorly organised. They were trying to get us to give tips when we didn’t want to do the camel riding, felt a bit much

    Money well spent

    A total time of 2 hours and a bit… actual ride was about 45 mins (but more than that probably would have been difficult to tolerate with the sand and petrol fumes)… For good reasons, it has to be well-controlled (which it was)… unfortunately a lot of potential for mischief and thus injuries. We did not come across any hard-sell. But easy to understand given that a lot of people depend on this activity for a living. I tipped when and where I could because it is no big deal when you earn in British pounds / US dollars… One spends more on a pint in a pub!
