Bad experience - strange, frustrating and boring.

We were supposed to go snorkeling at the blue hole - quick 4 hour tour from 9am to 1pm. But the tour operator insisted on picking us up an hour earlier than scheduled at 8am, and then insisted on taking us to the coloured canyon first. he told us it would be amazing and it was only 20 minutes out of the way. we agreed - but when we arrived there 90 minutes later, he merged us with a russian tour group. the canyon was pretty boring - but worse, it took another 90 minutes to get to the blue hole. we didn't arrive until 2pm. lunch was inedible. quick snorkel (which was actually great) and back in the car for another 90 minutes back to the hotel - arriving at 530pm. so...a 4hr tour became 9hrs...of which about 5hrs was spent driving. not great with 3 young boys. overall, we felt that the tour operator deceived us - and brought us on a much longer tour to help cover for a missing tour guide for a russian group. strange, frustrating, boring...would not recommend this company.
