Your trip starts with a journey from Hanoi to Sapa town, we recommend taking an overnight bus or by train. If traveling by bus, you can get to Sapa more easily by dropping off directly at the main town, otherwise taking the night train is an experience and you have to catch another bus to transfer to Sapa from Lao Cai station.
