Amazing experience in Santa Maria

My father was born on Santa Maria, but he moved away over 50 years ago as a young boy so he didn’t remember his way around the island. Marco agreed to pick us up from the airport when we landed at 0700 and start the tour 2 hours early. The island is beautiful, and Marco’s love and passion for his home are evident throughout. A delicious lunch at a local restaurant was included in the price. Overall, it was terrific tour and the highlight of my families trip to Portugal. If it was possible to give the tour a higher rating than 5 stars I would. Thank you so much for an excellent day. I hope to come back in the future and book again with Paraiso Radical.

I had an amazing whirlwind day seeing every single inch of the island of Santa Maria! The tour culminated at Pico Alto rhe highest point of the island where i got an amazing perspective of the whole iland with stunning views! My guide was very personable, flexible and accommodating. I was delayed in arriving and he was gracious enough to change the date and even dropped me off at the airport because we didn't have time to ho back to the hotel. All in all a wonderful experience!

Wonderful private Tour with Marco

This was an amazing experience with a wonderful and fun guide. Marco was a local and well known on the island. He knew almost anything we could ask and was always willing to go wherever we wanted. Santa Maria is such a beautiful Island, literally ever turn was a post card. My husband and myself were so happy to be shown around with such hospitality despite knowing no Portuguese, we look forward to returning. PS he also dealt well with our 16 year old nephew.
