No English and Poor Customer Service

I decided to take the tour of Vinedos Donato. 1. You must meet in Queretaro so if you are in San Miguel it’s an hour away and you’ll have to find your own transport. 2. The vineyard is really beautiful. 3. We were supposed to start at 4pm but didn’t start until 5pm because a glitch in the system. 4. We tried to get food but couldn’t because no one spoke English. They didn’t help us to our table. And then when we finally ordered it would take 30 minutes so we left and were met with awkward body language. And the server telling our guide something. We don’t know. 5. The tour seemed nice. It opened with 1 wine tasting. We had to wait until another party came. It was awkward standing there until we inquired with what was going on with the guide. We then went to the actual vineyard and after that the wine cellar basement. The entire tour was in Spanish and our guide did a subpar job translating what was going. The one wine I wanted to buy wasn’t available. 7. Afterwards we tried to order from the restaurant again. We were taking it to go since it was pretty late. The elote didn’t have mayo or seasoning. It looked like some canned corn put in a to go container. The meat was not medium well. There was pink on the outside and inside. The fries came with no Parmesan. I had to tell them it was missing. And they went to put it on there and bring it back. We ate our fries while waiting on someone to help. It took forever. And we were ready to go. Didn’t want to wait for remade food as we already ate the fries and didn’t want to pay for food we didn’t eat. Server said she was getting manager. It took forever. Manager never came but she said we could go. I don’t recommend this tour at all. It was a waste of money. No English and poor customer service.

An excellent tour

A very good tour; we visited a farm where they make some very delicious sweets, and it is excellent for bringing children since there are baby and adult goats. We also went to picturesque little towns; the explanations about the process of making wine and cheese were very interesting, and the tastings were the best!
