Take a relaxing ride down a river to explore magnificent limestone formations on this 3-hour Belize cave-tubing adventure. Our tour was absolutely phenomenal! On top of being a blast, Marvin, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and patient. I was travelling with my husband, father (70’s) and my 4 year-old and Marvin took the time to answer all of our questions and waited for our dawdling son on the walk. He let us go at our own pace, and was very informative about the area, history and wildlife. Lunch was a wonderful Belizean dish. It was excellent, and a generous portion. I would highly, highly recommend this tour. I can’t say enough good things about it.

This was SO much fun. We loved swimming around in the cave and learning about its history. Our guide Angel was great! We really enjoyed him. The walk to put in was about 40 minutes, and pretty flat, we had to carry our own tubes, which wasn't hard at all, just putting it for info. Wear water shoes that are comfortable to walk in and probably ones with backstraps, there are rentals available near put in. It was nice to not have to be in a huge group. We saw some bats, toucans and other birds on the river. Lunch was delicious and we had a little time to look at the souvenir shops around. We did see a few coatimundi in the parking lot area which was fun! Bring your own towel! We had some time to dry on the sun cause other people in our group zip lined. But we would have been pretty damp still!

Marvin was an AMAZING guide! We were so lucky to have him. He took us through 5 caves and never rushed us through. He would take us to different swim areas and jump off rocks. He gave a lot of great information about the caves and even had us turn off our lights through some caves to get the full effect. He truly made our experience, one that we will remember for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend requesting him as your guide as well. The lunch food was great and he even gave us great tips and locations to visit during our stay.

Angel was the absolute best tour guide. He was very informative and made sure everyone in the group had fun. We went through a few caves and walked through the jungle. It was more than just tubing. The best part is he made us a home made meal afterwards. It was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to book! Angel is hands down the best tour guide we have ever had!!

Our guides Angel and Romel were great! They were attentive to the needs of the group and Angel made a fantastic lunch! The tour itself was really unique. I’ve been in a lot of caves but never anything like this. It was a slight workout (we carried our own tubes but most others paid BZD $5 to have a porter carry their tube) through the one mile flat trek through the jungle. Then got to relax, swim a little and see some Mayan artifacts. Definitely a worthwhile trip.

This tour is so much fun. Great time and our guides were so nice and helpful. Thank you. I do want to comment about the bus ride to and from our rental. PLEASE do not subject all of us to other guest’s loud music. That was kinda rude. All of my family felt it was disrespectful.

The cave tubing adventure was incredible! We got to tube, swim and get out to explore the caves. Our guide, Abel was amazing! He was very funny and told us all about the Mayans and the history of the caves. We had so much fun and the included lunch was very good. I would highly recommend this excursion!

Had a great time! FYI these are not the ATM caves, but still an amazing experience nonetheless. Choose the option of the further hike to do two caves- it’s worth it! The walk through the jungle to get to the river was not strenuous but you do need to carry your own tube. We left the tubes for a bit to explore the caves which included some climbing and swimming. If you’re looking for adventure, book this excursion. Don’t forget to bring a change of clothes, bug spray and water shoes. (You can rent shoes for cheap)

Had a great time, awesome experience. I think our tour guide Jose was the best! Other guides quickly got their folks through...he took his time. We got to get in the water to swim while he got the tubes and then go down the water. He also explained the culture and country so well on the ride and on the river. Amazing!!!

This was a great experience. We somehow lucked out and basically had a private tour with Leo. He was SO informative about the jungle/rainforest and the Mayan culture. I learned so much and had SO much fun. We were still able to do this even in the rain. Honestly, wouldn't change a thing about this experience except that I wish it was longer, but I just didn't want it to end. Definitely choose to do BOTH caves.

Edgar was an amazing guide! It was just the three of us on the trip so we were able to ride our tubes individually. This allowed us to travel wherever we wanted on the river, climb up on the rocks, stop when we wanted. It was awesome.
Edgar took us to the further river drop in so we went through two caves and had the first one all to ourselves.
It was cool to see how diverse the caves were.
He encouraged us to ask questions. We talked about everything from Mayan history, to Belize’s education system, to our families. My camera didn’t work so he took pictures with his and shared them after. He even made a stop at the pharmacy for me on the way home.
Highly recommended this tour with Edgar. The walk to the second cave is worth it. Ride individually if you can.
Use bug spray for the walk through the trees.

There are a lot of places that offer cave tubing out of San Ignacio -- and I am SO glad I booked this trip! Our guide Sisco was incredible. Not only was he super knowledgeable, but he also really let us choose our own adventure along the way. Our group was able to choose between floating solo in a inner tube or being attached to the guide in the bigger blue tubes. None of the other groups we saw had solo floaters like us - which was a great experience! Sisco also had us stop at the second cave and get out of our tubes to explore which made the trip even more memorable. All of the other tour groups just floated on by while we got to see and learn so much more about the caves. Tons of fun, and couldn't recommend it more highly!

We had great time on this tour. It was very relaxing and the caves and jungle were beautiful. While many of the guides tied their groups together in a line of tubes and quickly swam them through the cave, our guide let us leisurely float through, enjoying the caves for a longer time period. He was informative and did not seem in a hurry to move on to the next group and making more money etc. We learned a lot about the plants along the hiking trail as we went, as well as about the rock formations inside the cave. Our guide took us a very cool little cliff jumping spot inside the cave as well. I would recommend this trip!
