I could not recommend this tour of Cocora Valley more highly, particularly if you are interested in birds and biodiversity. My guide, Robin, was extremely knowledgeable and spent a lot of time talking explaining the birds of the area.
If you want to learn more about the local wildlife while taking in the breathtaking views of the Cocora Valley, this tour is for you.
Had a fantastic time! Our guide Seb was very knowledgeable and good at spotting birds. We spent ages at the hummingbird sanctuary and throughout the walk saw tons of bird life. The only negative comment was that lunch was back in town at 4pm once we had finished the hike, we were only provided snacks up to then.

Our group of 5 completed the Cocora Valley hike on January 30 and had the good fortune of having Nicky as our guide. The Cocora Vallley itself is stunningly beautiful; pictures can’t do it justice. Nicky was also the perfect guide - so knowledgeable and personable; she really made the hike an experience and it wouldn’t have been the same without her!

We really enjoyed the company of our guide who was knowledgeable, helpful and very professional. We didn't see the time go by.
we did the one day cocora tour with lunch and had a really nice time. its a nice walk which during a few hours in your tempo. important to know is that the palm you see in the beginning of the tour. so you drive with the car direct to the waxpalms, the view is really nice and you can do some pictures. after that the nature is a bit different because you are going to the rainforest and see a lot of hummingbirds and enjoy a hot chocolate. our guid was very friendly, helpful and answered all our questions. i recommend this tour and to go with a guide so you dont get lost in the rainforest.
