The activity already begin during the van trip when the host tell interesting facts about Riga and the huskies.
Arrived at the spot (35 minutes) you can pet the dogs, they are twentish and all of them are super friendly. The dog sled is really fun, finished that you can go to a near watch tower to admire the landscape and pet again the dogs or buy some souvenirs. This one of the most interesting activity that I did in Riga, absolutely recommended!

Went to Latvia for friends bday did husky ride was such fun excellent experience
We have never laughter so much. Very cold but right clothes warm water proof boots and gloves hat scarf made it more bearable and more time having fun

Really amazing experience. Would recommend some very warm clothing as it was around -17 when we went and everything was cold!

Sled with husky... What can I say. One extraordinary experience. We did it for the first time and we didn't regret it.
The dogs very friendly, the people very polite and ready to explain everything. Don' t have any second thought its worth all the money.

Really nice first time dog sledding through some tracks in a forest.
We experienced it with snow on the track and had a great time playing with the dogs.
The down side of the experience was the small vehicle used to take us to the spot (1 hour driving from Riga). It wasn't fit to accommodate 4 people + driver.
And that's the only reason why I won't give the perfect rating.
Our guide did his best despite the inconvenience of the mean of transportation and we'd gladly take the experience again with him.

An absolute must when you come to Latvia. My husband and I had a wonderful day with memories that will last forever.
You had a chance to play with the Husky’s who are so friendly. Our tavy was called Panda, you could tell right away he was so happy and a cheeky chap!
Then you get to go sledding and half way you can swap who “drives”
To finish off you have the chance to walk through the forest and climb to the top of the tower to see the view! It’s really worth it.
We were lucky enough to have quite a lot of snow and we rented their trousers which I recommend as they were nice and toasty.
You can buy socks and gloves ect made from the Husky hair. They are a little pricey but they were so warm and each item has the name of the dog it comes from which is a nice touch.
It’s a great day out to get out and see outside of Riga. So don’t think, just do it! You won’t be disappointed. It really is a tick off your bucket list.

The guide was good but there was no snow so wasn’t that great. Overpriced . I was asked to pay €30 in addition to prove of ticket otherwise they would cancel my booking.
Experience was otherwise good and guide took me to a walk in the forest

Ms Richa, I am sorry that we were not fully able to make you happy that day, BUT we are not able to guarantee the snow and you may understand that this is out of our power.
As you knew very well you have booked public tour and in the description it is stated both that: that if no snow we run rides with bike karts and that tour is run with minimumu 4 persons!!!
As for the first I guess you could not have any doubts that there could not be snow in Riga on your date!
As for the second you were offered a) to join the group a day earlier or to pay extra ( as you unfortunately were only person for the tour this day) and go for the tour on your booked date on which you agreed for the second. If being not able to choose any from two options as you write the tour would have been cancelled by us and your money refunded!!!
You still wanted to go for the tour and agreed on that and now claiming us about this...
I suggest that next time when you book something read carefully what is offered in order to avoid bad surprises and rating providers undeservedly low!
