Bike Tour Riga

Nice tour with Patrick on bikes. There were only two of us on the tour. We intentionally picked a more expensive three hour trip however our guide Patrick brought us back at 2 1/4 hr. which was disappointing. We chose to go over the river through neighborhoods and got some history and culture. Next time will be sure to clarify at the start with the guide the time of the tour.

Hi Brian, We allow upto 3hrs basesd on public tours where there can be upto 10 people. Starting and setting up many bikes can last 30 mins at least and when leading full groups of 10 people and the tours do take longer with larger groups. In this case I think Arturs offered a custom tour as there was only 2 of you booked. Im sorry he finished earlier than usual but this is very typical when leading 2 guests as opposed to 10 on the public route. We are sorry for your experience and ask any one else joining to make sure with the guide that any time requests are met according to the expectations of the group. We are greatly sorry and will make sure to talk to the guide.

Excellent coverage of the areas further out than the old town. Heard very interesting stories from our informative and friendly guide. Really enjoyed the freedom of roaming around on a bike and felt safe. Loved the variety the city has to offer and felt my knowledge of Riga’s history has broadened a lot. Mostly flat - and sometimes bumpy.

Covered all the key points in the city. The guide explained a lot of the history of Riga. What ai liked most was the fact that there were not too many people on tour allowing me to ask a lot of questions.

We had a delightful 2 1/2 to 3 hours on a private bike tour with James checking out various Riga neighborhoods. James is a charming and knowledgable guide. As a long-time resident (20+ years), he has both the 'local' perspective as well as the ability to see Riga as an outsider would and was happy to share his personal perspective. That personal insight is why we generally prefer private tours, by the way, even if it costs more. In addition, the bikes were very comfortable and well-maintained, he provided helmets, and we felt safe riding both on- and off-road. And it meant we were able to cover a lot of ground quickly and easily.

A high enjoyable and informative few hours. Markus (?) was very knowledgable and gave a more in-depth and different insight to Riga, and its people, compared to other Riga tours I did. Highly recommended although be sure you are a competent cyclist. It’s not strenuous at all but some of the cycling is along busy pavements (sidewalks).

Es ist absolut empfehlenswert das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar. Der Reiseleiter ist sehr Aufmerksam, erklärt alle wichtigen Informationen detailliert und geht auf alle Fragen von den Beteiligten ein. Wir waren insgesamt 5 Personen die aus unterschiedlichen Ländern kamen, trotzdem war es vom Gefühl her eine Tour wie mit Freunden. Die Ausstattung war einwandfrei.
