A) RHODES CRUISE PORT: We'll meet you at the dockside, just out of your ship with a sign on the vehicle showing your name. Usually beside the tour buses of your cruise line. We are licensed to get into the dockside. Rhodes is a dock port (All passengers disembark right at the pier, no tender boats or cable cars) so it’s easy to disembark. B) HOTEL: We pickup from any hotel in Rhodes Town (our headquarters). On the East Coast of the island we pickup till Kolymbia (25km / 15 miles from Rhodes Town). On the West Coast of the island till the Paradisi Village (14km / 8,6 miles from Rhodes Town). We'll meet you at your Hotel (just out of the lobby) with a sign on the vehicle showing your name.

Our tour guide George was very informative about beautiful Rhodes and Lindos (not many stores open in Lindos as this is off season and we didn’t feel like walking up to the acropolis). So many beautiful pictures were taken along the way as we were able to stop and take in the vistas. The Mercedes van for the 4 of us was super clean. A very enjoyable time was had by all.

George was a knowledgeable and professional. So easy to ask questions and always get a great answer. He was also flexible. My brother had to stop at a pharmacy and George found one for him and we stopped for a few minutes. He listened to what we wanted and did not disappoint.

This tour was the best tour of our cruise not just because of what we saw more importantly, having a professional driver who was very knowledgable. The driver and car met us exactly where they said they would be and we had a wonderful tour. Communication leading up to our tour was great and all my questions were answered promptly. Our driver and guide Stavros was waiting in a comfortable air conditioned mercedes sedan as we walked off our cruise ship. We discussed our options for sightseeing for the day. Initially, we thought seeing Rhodes and attempting to climb the Lindos Acropolis was not feasible in one day. But Stavros, assured us it was possible and Lindos and the Acropolis was not to be missed. First, we were driven around the beautiful sights of Rhodes old town where Stavros gave us concise pertinent historical background to the buildings and sites. We then headed to Lindos and climbed the Acropolis! A highlight of our day! After, we headed back to Rhodes and toured some beach communities and ended the day being dropped off in Rhodes old town. We toured the castle and surrounding shops and had a wonderful early dinner at a rooftop restaurant. The Rhodes tour with Stavros was jam packed but we saw it all!

Rhodes was an absolute surprise for us and we are so glad we booked this tour to see as much of the island as possible! Our guide Kostas was incredible and it's obvious he loves the island of Rhodes. He's a professor too, so his knowledge was truly unparalleled! We got to see so many sites that we wouldn't have seen if we had taken a cruise ship excursion. Anthony Quinn Bay is absolutely stunning! We so enjoyed our free time and lunch in beautiful Lindos. And then we made a stop at a pottery shop that was absolutely incredible where we saw the artists working the clay and painting some pieces. The whole experience was incredible! Kostas even stopped for us at his favorite stand so that I could buy some olive oil, olives and thyme honey. Armed with our pottery pieces, our delicacies and amazing memories of the day, we got dropped off at the Medieval Village to explore before going back on the ship. We are already talking about how we must come back to beautiful Rhodes for a real vacation because we fell in love with the island!

We spent a full day in Rhodes seeing all the highlights on our cruise stop, and our driver indulged us with a quick swim at the beach. The water was warm and calm. It was a great experience. You need more time to fully enjoy Rhodes, at least 2-3 days. There is so much to see and do. This private half-day tour does allow you to take in all the highlights. Our driver was hospitable and made sure we were able to take in as many sites as we could within the time frame. We loved the fact that the tour was very flexible and we could tailor it to some of the destinations we wanted to see. A visit to the Lindos Acropolis requires a very early start to avoid the crowds, heat, and to get the most out of this experience. There is so much to explore in the area. Wear comfortable walking shoes. It's a steep hill. We decided to end our tour in Old Town, where we could explore at our own pace and do some shopping before returning to the cruise ship. It was a fun-filled day in Rhodes.

Nicolaus greeted us at the dock and introduced us to our guide for the day, Augustus. Augustus was very informative. He took us around based on the described itinerary for perfect views and detailed history of the area. He offered options for tailoring our day to suit our needs. And in the end he dropped us off at the beach for us to enjoy some swim time in the Mediterranean before our all aboard time.

Better than the cruise excursion. Michael was awesome! He was funny, informative, and flexible with the itinerary. We saw historical places, ceramics workshop, shopping areas, and lots of beautiful beaches we would like to return to the next time we go to Rhodes! It was awesome that they are able to park next to the ship for pick up and we didn’t have to walk far.

Michael our tour guide driver was excellent. He is a local guide who grew up in Rhodes and he gave us enriching information on Rhodes ancient history and current history. He provided us tales of Greek mythodology, drove us to the best scenic and beach panoramic spots of the island (e.g. Anthony Quinn Bay) as well as the historical sites and allowed adequate time for us to explore each site. We also had a memorable lunch of fresh seafood by the bay that was owned by a local Greek family. We had a great time on our tour with Michael as he is also a great comedian often giving us jokes that were very funny that made us laugh the entire time during our tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rhodes and if you’re lucky having Michael as your tour guide as a bonus!
