Please let us know the time you wish to start your tour A) RHODES CRUISE PORT: We'll meet you at the dockside, just out of your ship with a sign on the vehicle showing your name. Usually beside the tour buses of your cruise line. We are licensed to get into the dockside. Rhodes is a dock port (All passengers disembark right at the pier, no tender boats or cable cars) so it’s easy to disembark. B) HOTEL: We pickup from any hotel in Rhodes Town (our headquarters). On the East Coast of the island we pickup till Kolymbia (25km / 15 miles from Rhodes Town). On the West Coast of the island till the Paradisi Village (14km / 8,6 miles from Rhodes Town).

We were sailing aboard the Disney Fantasy and were looking for a specific combination of sights that just were not available through the cruise line's port adventures. This specific private tour itinerary seemed to hit all the main highlights that we were looking for - with a lot of photo ops.
We knew it would be a great day as we met our guide for the day Cristos, and the company owner Nicholas. Cristos is very knowledgeable about local history - and does it in a way that keeps people interested and engaged. There are frequent sightseeing stops on the tour, and the vantage points are impressive.
Comfort wise, we were upgraded to a minivan which was more than enough for our party of 3.
We really enjoyed the views of the city from a high point, stopping at Anthony Quinn's Bay, a ceramic shop, a viewpoint of Lindos and the Acropolis with some time to spend in Lindos and then slowly coming back to Rhodes where we were given the option to be dropped in the Old Town for sightseeing on our own (and understanding that the Old Town is right next to the ship)

We really enjoyed this tour. This was very organized. I would recommend this tour of Rhodes. The driver was personable and made sure everything was going good throughout the tour. The Tour company owner checked in with us partway through our tour to make sure everything was going well.

What fabulous Island and tour. Our guide was Alex, who was extremely interesting and knowledgeable as to Rhodes, and Greece. Alex guided us through all of the highlights on the island to include an off-the-road beach-side village where we enjoyed a great, Greek lunch. We cannot imagine a better tour. On our return to Rhodes in the future, we will be asking for Alex again.

Michael was a great guide. He was knowledgeable and modified the itinerary based on our desires. In our case, my son are able to move through Lindos (which was beautiful) rather quickly. We weren't interested in one of the suggested stops, so we asked to go for a nice swim at with any extra time since the beaches were beautiful and it was a hot day. He took us to a beautiful uncrowded nice beach far away from the crowds with a restaurant and had calamari waiting on us at the end of our swim. Highly recommend if you have one day or even if you have several and just wan to get an overview of the island. With the 5 hour tour, you still have plenty of time to send Old Town after the tour.

Our guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable and nice! His English was VERY good. The tour had such a variety--old town harbor, the medieval wall, the countryside, a pottery demonstration (with no requirement to purchase goods), the beaches/sea, and finally a stop at Lindos. I highly recommend. The tour operator even met us at the cruise ship and called during the tour to make sure we were taken care of!

Stergos Giannas was a fantastic guide and companion! He was insightful and engaging the entire tour. We enjoyed countless Rhodes sights - especially the Church of the Annunciation (with its Biblical significance within), the Acropolis of Lindos (a challenging climb with a rewarding view to match) and the beauty of the Rhodes coastline (especially Anthony Quinn Bay). After the tour we were dropped off and meandered through the walled City of Rhodes and shopped a little on our way back to the ship. It was a day to remember!

Our guide kept us amused with his anecdotes and stories of the island and Lindos. Wasn't actually a licensed guide so we had to do the castle on our own. Finding this more and more - you think you are paying for a guide and all you get is a driver.

Nicholas promptly greeted us as we disembarked and introduced our driver/guide Stamos.
Stamos was excellent in many ways! He shared much of the history, significant features, and daily living of the island. Stamos was very accommodating and offered alternatives to our itinerary based on our interests. We managed to enjoy a delicious seafood lunch by the water and swam in the Mediterranean.

Acropolis of Lindos had some of the most amazing remains and even better views of the island. The bays were beautiful but the only thing that could have been better is if the excursion group pre-ordered our acropolis ticket as we had to wait in line for about 40 minutes in the blistering heat. Also be aware it is a very long drive and future travelers should go earlier in the morning as the Acropolis is one of the last places we visited. Walking through the Medieval city was quite and awesome experience, not to mention they have Fish Spas you can visit. Anthony Quinn Bay was also a very nice spot to take a quick dip as the scenery is beautiful.
