Proper expectations

We played the zip-lining at the Monteverde Extremo Park through a Viator booking. Pros: the cables and platforms feel safe, the people are polite and helpful, the views are stunning Cons: loud noises, we stopped the tour in the middle due to ear pop We stopped the tour in the middle because our teenage son lost his hearing on the 4th or 5th glides, before longer and steeper glides. We learned later that high speed descending could cause ear pop, if people have cold symptoms or blocked sinus, they could lost their hearing, consequences could be severe. With medical treatments, he felt better after 2 days. We hope this post can help to set proper expectations for other tourists trying extreme sports.

Zipline and Tarzan swing were super fun and exciting. The day we went we had to wait extra long since there were not enough help thus cause some delay on our other activities.
