Lots of walking! Lots of tacos. Tour guide was really good and knowledgeable; The fruit (mangos) and ice cream were awesome!

We are sorry that your experience started with confusion regarding the meeting point. However, we would like to clarify a few facts for future guests. Detailed meeting instructions, including a Google Maps link, were sent to all members of your group weeks before the tour with no replies on your side. The meeting point is located just two short blocks from the market area where 6 of our 7 food stops take place, with very little walking required between stops (less than 100 meters between stops)
Unfortunately, your group arrived at a different location several kilometers away after being directed there by a taxi driver. This was the reason for the additional walking and confusion at the beginning of the experience. Our guide, Jorge, waited at the designated meeting point for approximately 45 minutes and remained patient and professional throughout the situation and the frustration.
We always encourage guests to contact us if they have any difficulty finding the meeting point, and we are happy to provide additional assistance when needed. Unfortunately, we did not receive any requests for further directions before the tour began from your side.
We are glad to see that you still described the experience itself as great, which makes the 3-star rating particularly disappointing for our team, especially since the issue was unrelated to the quality of the tour, food, or guiding.

There were four of us on the tour and it was unanimous, we loved it! The amount of food that you get to sample is amazing, you will not leave hungry. The quality of the food is incredible too and Jorge explains everything in a very informative and pleasant way.
I would highly recommend this tour and can't say enough good things about what a great tour guide and nice person Jorge is. Our friends are back on the same cruise with their family in May and they are determined to book it again!
