It's a more laid back trip with Aaron who is the best guide ever. He kept us informed hydrated we'll fed and gave us a wealth of information on bush medicine.We highly recommend this tour. We were able to go at our own pace and Aaron made sure we saw the Cassawary and crocodile. Best trip ever for us. Thanks

It was a great outing for the day. We learnt so much from our very knowledgable and friendly guide Aaron on aboriginal culture, bush tucker, flora and fauna of the Daintree Rainforest, and other wildlife in the jungle.
We tried out various bush tucker, including the Lilly Pilly, the Noni, and green ants. Aaron also has the eye of an eagle (or Osprey) and was able to point out various wildlife to us in the trip. It was also very informative to learn about the history and modern day socioeconomic interactions between aboriginal peoples and the Australian government. We topped off the end of the trip with swimming in a swimming hole and ice cream at a local shop.
All in all the day was very chilled and relaxed and educational; I would thoroughly recommend.

We are three friends who joined the Ngana Kulkinga Dungay tour. It was fantastic. Aaron was our guide; a super friendly and enthusiastic, indigenous man born and raised in the rainforest area. Aaron taught us about his native medicine its healing properties and purposes. It was a privilege to have him as our guide and to learn about indigenous culture which is so rich and full of wisdom and knowledge. This tour was exactly what we were looking for and we were so pleased with the experience. Thank you Walkabout and Aaron for the education and for sharing with us your land.

Aaron was exceptionally welcoming and worked hard to give us the best experience due to our time constraints. Even after growing up in Australia, i was astonished by the amount of native plants at our doorstep that can be used for medicinal and consumption purposes. Aarons knowledge of the area and its history provided such unique experience and i would highly recommend it for all ages.
