Your tour starts with pickup from your centrally located Picton accommodation or from another central Picton location.
As you travel to your first winery, your guide shares background information about New Zealand wines and the Marlborough wine region, which is known for its sauvignon blanc and pinot noir.
Taste a range of wines at three or four different wineries during your afternoon tour. You'll learn more about wine production at each winery, see the vineyards, and get first-hand experience of the world-famous Marlborough wine region.
A lunch stop is not included so it's recommended that you eat before joining the tour.
As you travel to your first winery, your guide shares background information about New Zealand wines and the Marlborough wine region, which is known for its sauvignon blanc and pinot noir.

Our driver Chris was a very informative driver and gave great commentary throughout the afternoon. We went to 3 wineries and enjoyed hearing the background and obviously tasting the wine ! Chris also gave us top tips for our stay in Picton, where to eat and drink and where was best value.

Part of the magic of the tour were the pleasant travelers accompanying me, and Chris the driver/guide was pleasant, informative, and kept us on time and engaged. The wineries were completely different and made for good comparison of the different wines available. We were lucky with a pleasant fall day, and one of our group got a server at Forrest Cellars to sing in Māori for us! I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and will do again when back in the region.

We had a fabulous time with Sam our guide, so informative. Took us to three wine tasting and a chocolate factory. Great as picked up as arranged and even offered to drop us different stop. Great value 🍷

Marcela moved quickly and got us to three vineyards and a chocolate boutique in our short afternoon adventure.The shuttle was full of strangers at the beginning and friends by the end. The wine education was tasty and fun with engaging hosts at every stop.

Rose our driver was a lovely lady and we got on well with the 6 others on our tour. Visited Whitehaven, Nautilus, No 1 ('Champagne') and Forrest vineyards. All were good but enjoyed Whitehaven and Forrest the best for the wine experts chat and more generous pouring! Although No 1 sparking wines made in old Champagne way were superb. Fear not though, you will come way rather tipsy!

They give generous pours, so you need to pace yourself. Lots of great wine! We had a big group of 10 and all very friendly.

The tour departed Picton at 1pm and got back just after 5.30pm. This included wine tasting at four wineries, and a surprise stop at a chocolate factory.
The driver / tour guide was Andy who was caring, considerate, and very knowledgeable. Our companions were a mix of Aussies, Brit’s and Welsh. This added to interesting conversations, shared experiences, which was enjoyed by all.
Would definitely recommend.

This was one of our best tours in NZ, our guide Andy was a great ambassador for his country. We toured the Marlborough area in an excellent van and Andy kept us entertained with many stories of the area, the wineries, Picton town and anything else we like to discuss. He was welcoming to every winery as a very popular tour guide. Highlight of the tour was our last winery St Claire, my wife’s favourite. A great tour, recommended.

It*s good way to get some insight into NZ wine but the whole trip was rushed. We visited 4 different vineyard 3 gave good information and one we could have lived without, the lady told us that she was not a wine person so we got no information about the wines.

A great afternoon out with our guide marcella to some of the less well known wineries. Lots of wine to sample , eating before you go is a must ! Its well worth it as no worries about driving , relax , enjoy the wine , scenery and banter .

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience going around 4 wineries and with a final stop at a boutique chocolate maker. We loved all of the wineries and getting to try such a range of fantastic wines!
The highlight was getting to know the others in the group who were so friendly and it was great to get to know each other across the afternoon.
Rosie was very friendly and made sure the afternoon flowed really well.
Highly recommend and we will definitely do more tastings in the future as we had such a great experience here!

Oh wow! First, Rosie is the best! She took this group of strangers and made them all friends by the end of the tour! Wines were good - four wineries in a half day - pace yourself folks! I've done half day tours and usually there are only 3 wineries. We had such a blast!

I loved the focus on smaller wineries. Brett shared interesting details and history about each location. We tasted about 3-4 per location, mostly whites, some rosés and a Pinot noir. One location focused on sparkling wine at No. 1 Family Estate.
It was a fun, informative and tasty tour.

Wow! This was such a great tour. I was so blown away, and it was about as perfect as perfect gets. Our lovely tour guide Marcella and the lovely couple I was riding along with just made the whole day so happy go lucky. Some truly great wines were tried! I'd definitely recommend!

A great afternoon out. I'm a solo traveller and this was a great way to meet some people and have a great laugh. Sam, the driver and guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and the wineries were very well chosen. I even left something on the bus and Sam brought it back to my hotel for me!! Such great service.

We had 5 people on our tour and it was great! Our tour guide Andy was a lovely gentleman and a good guide. The journey was about 20 mins from Picton and 5 mins between wineries. We visited 4 Wineries (Jackson Estate, Whitehaven, Nautilus Estate and Framington) and each place gave us 4 wines to try. The girls at Jackson Estate and Whitehaven we're very knowledgeable and friendly and the wineries were lovely. Unfortunately the weather was quite windy which meant we had to sit inside for all the tastings which was a little disappointing but we still really enjoyed the entire day and would highly recommend.

This was a great afternoon. We sat in beautiful outdoor settings to have our wine. The bus ride was relatively short which was nice. Sam was a great tour guide, lots of wine info as well as interesting stories. The chocolate factory at the end was icing on the cake!
