We pick up at all central Blenheim Hotels and Accommodations or the I Site at approximately 9.45- 10am - if you don't see your hotel listed, please write the address in and we will pick you up there. If you are in Picton pick ups start at 9.30am ( 9.15am in the summer), we pick up at all central Picton township accommodations. If the 9.30am timeslot isn't available it means that Picton pick up is not available on the date you have requested. DO NOT book this tour if you are on a Cruise ship as it probably won't be suitable for your ship timings, please get in touch with us first

Literally can not say enough good things about this tour and our driver, Glenn. We had a mixed group of people from the UK, Australia and the US. It was wonderful to learn about their lives back home over delicious wines. Lunch was FABULOUS! Can’t wait to come back next year and do it all over again!

Awesome, awesome tour and this is coming from someone who is super into wine! We were picked up from where we were staying in Picton, which was convenient. Love that we went to smaller wineries, and got personalized tastings at each one. My husband and I lucked out and were somehow the only ones taking the tour that day! Our guide, Gavin, was a hoot and knew so much about wine/viticulture; he was a jolly presence to have along throughout the day! Thanks so much, Gavin (P.S. I passed my WSET Level 2, whoohooo!)

Our guide Karen was the absolute best. She had a great understanding of the wine industry and the region. She shared her knowledge with us and made the day so memorable. We visited 5 different wineries which I feel is a fantastic number considering the limited time we had to spend in the area. We never felt rushed and got to enjoy each winery including meeting one of the owners who shared stories and experiences. The coach was comfortable and the small group size made for a fun day with nice people. I highly recommend.

Gavin was our guide. He was very nice and knowledgeable. The group of 10 were fun and interesting. We went to 5 wineries; Hunter, Nautilus, St Claire, Jackson and Johanneshof. Lunch at the third one which was St Claire. Lunch was excellent. Well worth the money for this tour.

This was such a fantastic day! Our driver was funny, charismatic, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. The van was full but very comfortable, which made travelling between wineries easy and relaxing. The tour itself was well planned and gave us the chance to explore a variety of wineries, each with incredibly generous and knowledgeable hosts. The lunch venue was a real highlight—the food was outstanding, and the platter for two was absolutely unreal. Overall, a brilliant experience that was well worth both the money and the time.

Such a fab day. Me and a friend went together. I always wanted to visit the Marlborough region for its amazing wines. Gavin the host and driver was great chat and very hospitable. Would definitely recommend doing this tour. We were lucky with the group we had too, everyone was great chat!

The driver / guide (James) was great. My group was a little underwhelmed by "some" of the wineries we visited. The lunch and wine at Allan Scott was delicious and the food came out quickly considering how busy it was there.

We loved Gavin, our tour guide and driver for the day. He picked us up from Picton and within a few minutes of meeting him we knew we were in for a treat. Friendly & informative tour guide - Linley. Small group of 8 who all got on well, lots of info but great fun too. Toured five wineries and had beautiful lunch at the third winery (separate charge). Tasted x4 wines at each with informative and interesting guides at each. Plenty of time at each, well organised and not rushed. Excellent day out and great value for money - would deffo recommend.

Marlborough Wine Tours Review
Our day with Marlborough Wine Tours was fantastic, made even better by our wonderful guide, Hamish, whose humor and deep wine knowledge enhanced the experience. The wineries we visited offered a great mix: Forrest Wines provided a fun and approachable introduction, Whitehaven showcased their exceptional Sauvignon Blancs, and St. Clair impressed with both its wines and an extensive lunch menu that catered to all tastes. Fromm’s boutique, organic approach was a highlight, and we wrapped up at Lawsons Dry Hills with their beautifully crafted aromatics.
It’s worth noting that some wineries were more generous than others with their tastings and shared knowledge, but that’s to be expected on a tour like this. Overall, the balance of variety and quality made this a must-do for wine lovers visiting Marlborough!
