Not a trip to Banana

This does not take you to the famous Banana beach, nor is it accessible from the point of the island where we were dropped. It’s important to know this to save a wasted trip if that was your goal. This trip involved a collection from the hotel and a speedboat to the island. From that point you are essentially left alone for 3 hours. You do get some snorkelling equipment but this is restricted to a few metres from the beach and there is little to see. The beach itself is fairly small and crowded, quite dirty beyond the central part, there’s a few restaurants if you wish to eat. The beach in Patong was better so in my opinion you’d be better off travelling to Banana beach instead.

Dear Sudip, We are a bit confused here we have never advertised that you are going to Banana Beach? This is not on the website anywhere. This Island is Koh Hey and different beaches here which you did visit Before advising future guests, we suggest that you also re-read the website again ? Thanks, Ian
