Itinerary

Book a morning or afternoon departure, and after pickup from your hotel or a central location in Phuket, set off by air-conditioned minivan with your guide.

On route, hear about Phuket’s history, and how the Old Town was built on the wealth of tin mining in the late 19th and early 20th century.

Explore the Old Town, strolling down Thalang Road, one of the oldest roads. Discover the street’s colorful past as you pass 19th-century Sino-colonial houses, quaint cafes, and shop-houses. Admire the buildings’ carvings, and swing by Dibuk Road, known for its Chinese-style houses and vintage shops. Enjoy time to peruse the wares, including artisanal clothing, artworks, and knick-knacks.

Next, visit Wat Chalong, the largest of Phuket’s Buddhist temples. Admire the richly decorated temple with its Grand Pagoda, and explore the buildings, filled with gilded Buddha statues, wall paintings, and shrines.

Continue to the Karon Viewpoint to drink in Phuket's beautiful location. Take in the far-reaching westerly views over the Andaman Sea and Koh Pu (Crab Island), and gaze out over three of Phuket’s white sand beaches: Kata Noi, Kata, and Karon.

Margie, our guide, was so nice and knowledgeable. The tour did not include the Big Buddha as it was still closed from landslide, which would have been nice to know beforehand. A couple stops, bee farm and cashew factory were really more shopping stops with a little education. It was nice to be picked up at our hotel and see some of Phuket, but the tour felt sort of rushed. We declined to do the last stop of the gem factory, knowing it would be another shopping excursion we weren't interested in.

We had a great trip. Nice easy way to see some cultural sites of Phuket and the city. Our tour guide Nurse was so good and friendly

Absolutely disappointing tour...

Absolutely disappointing tour. Pretty sure the provider has special deals to share profits from the tourists in the locations they bring you to. The guide did not say more than 100 words the entire time and offered no real culture or historical knowledge. The only thing he could say about the temple was that it was the largest in Phuket. They brought me to a cashew factory that was basically a tourist trap where you are harassed into buying the nuts or dried fruit. They then brought me to a so called jewelry factory which seemed promising with a few halls of historical exhibits, but I was rushed through these halls into a jewelry purchasing room by a pushy attendant. They force you to try things on and when they realize that you will not buy anything, quickly change from fake charm to rude and push you into the gift shop with absurdly priced cheap Thai souvenirs. When arriving at Old Phuket town, the guide just lets you explore but does not give you any context about the location. I would not recommend this tour to anyone, even for 20 bucks.

Marquei o tour para as 12h, foi confirmado mas depois o Agente Local disse que só poderia ser no tour das 14h pois não tinha as 12h. Isso complicou os nossos planos pois as 17h já tinhamos que estar no Hotel devido a outro compromisso. A Guia foi impecável e merece 5*.
